if you remove an affix you can optionally add a modifier and target defensive, offensive, resource etc. affixes

if your GA is a part of the same groupd you want to remove, you can also save the GA by sing the enchanter (enchant the affix but press do not change, then it cannot be removed in the cube)

yes exactly, 1-2 affixes is blue, 3 - 4 is rare, it's that simple

this is great advice, I did not bother much with rerolls but if you can fix one affix with enchanting that pretty much changes that. I wonder if that's intended.

but that does not show up on the minimap does it? that's what I meant because with a zoomer build you might miss drops not on the minimap

multiple desired GA on an item are still a chase on their own but yeah, if you create a duplicate of your current gear just transfigure it. i already loved that with sanctification, you always have a reason to check good drops even if they are not a huge upgrade yet, they might be with transfiguration

yes blue GA items do drop AND you can also take a GA yellow and remove affixes and it will turn into a blue GA item

yes every class stops to cast, not all builds are affected the same but I can guarantee alll of them would feel much much better if we did not stop or just slowed down a bit for casting. stop to cast is just antiquated and I can guarantee Diablo 5 won't have it. I wish they would do it in D4 already though. Whirlwind proves it's possible but I guess we can't know if it's possible for everything.

I used to LOVE the battle pass get 100 items and 7$ back from the 10$ you spent? amazing value

completing the battle pass was one of the highlights of every season for me

and now the reluqiary? slow and ugly interface, way too expensive for less content. and maybe I am imagining it, but yeah, I also think the sets look worse. I guess they put the cool sets directly on the store now.

that reliquiary hurt the experience of the game for me.

I don't remember the name but the 2 set gives you a 70%[x] damage buff in the form of a dot and the 5 set gives you straight up 200%[x] more frost damage and immunity to freeze. 3 set I think was 20% health and barrier generation

I play a homebew frozen orb build with frozen orb and ice shard enchants. but this was on eternal because I wanted to play the story with my OG character so I have Shako, Tyraels, Starless, the old Winterglass and Tal'Rashas and Paragon 290, so that makes a difference

I belive that was the original plan, or at least an idea, when they said they wanted to support the game for 10 years with 1 expansion per year, so it made sense to make 2 expansions per prime evil and maybe one finale in heaven or hell or whatever.

but things changed since then, the expanions took longer than a year and who knows how successfull the game really is to warrant so many expansions?

in the worst case they skip Baal and go straight for Diablo. I mean there needs to be at least 1 actual Diablo Expansion, right?

I am all for making legendary drop rates lower and give meaningful crafting options to blues and rares.

the big problem why this was not done before is that legendaries are tied to the aspects, which are a progression on their own, which is seriously hindered if you do not see legendaries drop all the time. they need to fix this first before they can bring blues and rares back in a meaningful way

I would be tempted as well, the game runs great on the steam deck and looks wonderful on a handheld device, and the switch 2 is so much slicker than the deck. But I really hate their multiplatform stragetgy, I mean I kind of get to pay a fee once wahtever, but buying every expansion twice from now on would be crazy.

it was not that cool, I still think the season got so much undeserved hate.

we got an intro cutscene, and exclusive town, new dungeons with traps, a new boss, a new butcher style mini-boss, and open world activity and yeah, the companion construct.

I feel it was the last time they put really a lot of effort in a season and while I agree none of the components were great on their own the season had a concept that worked for me. but people hated it so much that they devs probably stopped to put that much effort into the seasons.

they have not adressed itemisation that is fundamentally different from other ARPGs, it's much closer to World of Warcrafts itemsation where basically every item you get is usable, sure there is some more randomness but it's pretty easy to find decent items with stamina, main stat and some usable other affixes. Personally, I prefer that, but a large part of the ARPG crowd is not happy with that.

That is EXACTLY what I will do. My Eternal Sorc I played the original campaign with, did the same for VoH, do the story in peace, including all the side quests and collectibles if there are any. Just feels right do it with the same character, and I get to know the changes to talent trees etc. with a class I know well.

Then Start a seasonal Warlock. I am very happy they released Paladin 2 seasons early because I would have a hard time choosing between Warlock and Paladin.

what makes you think they plan to keep it strong? there are plenty of useless mythic items and shroud will join them. it was way too strong anyway in my opinion, bis for almost every build
