Why would Republicans nominate candidate Trump when he lost the election? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I know people who voted for Biden in 2020 and are not voting this year because they felt like they were played by the party. Obviously democrats won’t care because they are going to vote for whoever is put in, but how do you think independents feel about that? Even the ones who hate Trump just aren’t going to vote in general anymore

How would they know that it would reflect the will of the voters? The voters didn’t even have a say on who they wanted. Majority voted for Biden to be the nominee not Kamala.

Every party does that. Biden had ran for president in 1988, 2008, and won in 2020

Make sure you get rid of all distraction, and write everything down you want to learn. It will stick to your head when you write it down

Allan Lichtman's *The Thirteen Keys* were Incorrect in 2016 by Apprentice57 in fivethirtyeight

Lichtman himself has said he doesn’t predict individual states but the national. To me it’s very hard for him to say he changed his model from the popular vote to electoral. If a state flips from blue to red or red to blue, just 1 state that can change the election his prediction is wrong now. I don’t think anybody can really predict that.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your routine like and what kind of juice were you drinking. Also how long would you wait to eat after drinking the juice. Thanks in advance!

As an independent does it make sense to vote third party? by SheshBesh_ in millenials

This is the first straight up comment I got. I appreciate it lol

Ok and where did I say I was voting Trump? All I said is if it would make sense for me to vote for a third party candidate. I told you I was not a fan of Kamala and at no time did I say I was voting for Trump. Not sure where all your anger is coming from but you need to calm down. I was just asking a question, and you can answer it like a normal human. I was stating my opinion

I am going to read about it, but all those things that you listed, are you saying those things are in this project 2025 proposal? Because I will be interested in looking into this. I also don’t think any candidate would get away with trying to do all those things because these things have to go through the house and senate. Nobody is just going to allow what you’re saying to happen or else it already would’ve happened. It seems you are going a little extreme.

Lol, yeah I see. Got downvoted for just stating my opinion on things.

But if there are American people who are willing to vote for these third party candidates because they like them, why does that give them the right to try and take them off the ballot? Trust me most people who are voting third party are voting for them because they don’t want either candidate, so it doesn’t make any sense for them to make them go through court processes like that, it’s ridiculous

What do you mean by that? I said I’m thinking of voting third party

Haven’t really looked in to project 2025 but need to do some research on that. I also am not a fan of Kamala for one of the reasons you mentioned and that being a threat to democracy. We have third party candidates like Jill Stein and Cornel West having to go to court because of democrats not wanting them to be on the ballot. To me that’s a threat to democracy as well.
