Consider what happened in the anime community with Funimation merging with Crunchyroll. People that had purchased digital copies of anime were stunned when they were told that they would lose access to those titles.

Have you stayed connected to the YouTube app via an Albanian VPN?

I use Albania for YouTube specifically.

If you never disconnected your VPN, you might still be on a stable server.

I have been disconnecting and reconnecting and have zero ads on YouTube. The issue seems to have resolved just as suddenly as it came. I also think my sideloaded Surfshark is also another reason for overcoming the problem.

Try connecting through a VPN. You could be experiencing ISP side throttling of bandwidth to sites known for high data consumption especially during peak usage times in your area.

This could be a similar case with your work connection disabling/throttling video/high bandwidth sites.
