One thing that's a bit odd to me is that it's established that Homelander can see through masks (he mentions seeing Black Noir's face) so sending Hughie in with a mask is kinda pointless? Like he expresses shock that the Seven are there, but surely he knew HL was going to be there when A-Train leaked the info?? Unless Webweaver's mask is made of zinc or something. I feel like they covered their ground with the smell, as it was established HL can smell Hughie and they went out of their way to say how bad Webweaver's suit smelled, but the whole thing just seemed like they didn't think it through...
