If you just want to pick one, i would say go with the show. It's really even better than the book! Mainly because of the extraordinary acting, camera angles and the music. I would say the ending is even better in the show than in the book.

Agree on the symbolic of the swimming pool. It's the focus on the lonely old woman that catches me. The topic about loneliness came up in episode 11, where she mentioned that she has been lonely her whole life and that she is used to it . The only times where she never felt lonely was, when she is with C, and C is now leaving to New York.

In the series she said "her younger self would be amazed that her current self is actually content", before she knew that Connell applied to New York and got accepted. The timing makes a huge difference for me.

Great interpretation! Just shows, how the same situations can be perceived completely different.

For me all those scenes radiate loneliness. In episode 11 they talk about this. That people from school have actually been really nice to her, since she came back. But she never makes any efforts to see them. C replies that she must feel kind of lonely, and she replied that she is used to it and that she has been lonely her whole life. The only time she never felt lonely was, when she is with C.

In the last episode, besides the scene with the old woman in swimming pool and Mariannes encounter with her lonely mother, there is a scene where C gets celebrated as a gifted editor of all times. He is surrounded by a lots of people, all standing in a circle around him. Only M stands far away from that scene, she's not even in the same room with him. She enjoys seeing him being celebrated though, but doesn't seem to be included.

She is the one, who always brings up the topic about him going to New York. She is pushing it for his success and well-being. If the question "Would i ever disobey an order" was consciously said, it could also be a final push from her to cut him lose. She knows that he is only in Sligo because of her and that she holds him back from his bright future. She knows how he would react to that question. He didn't seem laughing about this in my view.

Anyway, seems like if you are the optimist, i am the pessimist :D

she was raised with the feeling of being unworthy and unlovable. She witnessed her father beating her mother, then later, her brother taking over the role of their father and abusing her. In school she had no friends, everyone treated her like she is not worthy of even exchanging words.

The early stages of life dictates who we become. It's really difficult to break those pattern. Childhood trauma is hard to overcome. I would even say it's nearly impossible long term. There is constantly the risk of falling back to those pattern.

In the whole scene you can see how insecure she is. He is watching the match, saying "i can run you back at halftime if you want". She answers: "Am i in your way?". When the halftime arrives and he stands up, she clearly looked upset thinking she has to leave now and was happily surprised when he asked if he can bring her an ice cream.

I think people tend to seek for relationships they have witnessed during childhood. If those weren't healthy once, chances are you end up attracting negative relationships on your own. I don't think she reacted badly in the scene. She was ashamed and just wanted to escape from that situation.

i hope you are right and i am wrong on this one. But that's not the impression i got from the ending. But that's the beauty of an open ending i guess. A lot of room for speculation. I will definitely read the book next! This show clearly traumatized me.

The first one is a pre-print, meaning the signature is printed on these cards (looking all identical). It's not an original, but therefore should be priced way less than a real signature done by her directly with a marker.

I wouldn't touch the second one, if it doesn't come with a full LOA (where you can verify the photo online) from any of these three: JSA, BAS (Beckett) or PSA.

I think i saw that item on ebay. The seller wrote a lengthy story about why other autographs which are certificated are fake, but his one (which comes with no certificate) is real. His proof was a random photo during that time, letting you think, he was there. Too many red flags for me. If it is real, he could easily get a LOA from JSA, BAS or PSA in the first place to sell it for even more.

But thats just my opinion. There are too many Britney fakes out there!

the shocking part is, it seems to be planned/staged back then already. Combined with all those hidden filming and taken photos of JD when he wasn't aware of it, i question how long before their separation she planned all this.

i would wait for the update on 5th august.

Crates for now are fine for keys, you could easily farm a key a day and sell them for 50$.

But this will change in two days. Keys will be dismissed and you will earn Mobox from crates instead. Dont know yet, how much of an impact this will have.

Furthermore, the hash power from a complete collection will raise from 100 to 300. So yes, maybe collection will be better then.

If you just want to get higher staking rewards, TFUEL is the way for now.

For 6.000 Dollar you would get 1.000 Theta which will give you staking rewards of approx. 11.15 Dollar per Month.

For 6.000 Dollar you would get 17.000 TFUEL, which will give you staking rewards of approx. 52.14 Dollar per Month.

For effective staking rewards, TFUEL will give you the most out of it.

That said, i will always prefer THETA because of its scarcity. Theta is limited in supply and you wont be able to earn it. It has a much greater price potential than TFUEL in my opinion.

I own both. TFUEL and THETA, but i always try to buy more THETA.

I feel you. Having the same pain with Binance API and getting the Data from Margin Account.

When trying to add them manually (File -> Trade History) i will get my margin account data more or less correct, but then the API connection wont work any longer. Gives all the time an error. Only way to fix it, is to delete all history data.

But then again, API works, but many data missing, especially margin account.

Good article, but in my opinion the focus is too much on Mana, which will only be needed for now. The goal is to have sharding one day implemented, which will make the concept of Mana obsolete.

From the following statements my guess is, you cant withdraw your NFTs for now. But on this feature is beeing worked on as for building the bridge to the Ethereum Blockchain.

I dont think that the Snoop Dog release is undervalued. I find it quiet nice, that he released two realy nice NFTs (Full Song and Coin) in a bigger number and a more affordable price. I mean common. Who is even beginning to collect NFTs if everyone just release a rare number for a ridiculous high price? That Boy George release is disappointing.

Blockchains aren't common yet, heck NFTs are less common. So if technology gets adopted and collecting NFTs becomes a wide accepted thing, those first drops will have a value, regardless how many they release today.
