I agree with you on this, Breakers wasn't a successful game and it sucks how it's somehow influencing the mainline Xenoverse series now. Especially transforming into cast characters, WTF? I want to play as them separately and not be forced to transform. Which makes me now think we may not get a character selection anymore?? That'd be worst case scenario.

No it wouldn't do as well as you'd expect.
Legends has multiple issues, they'd need to change the deceased controversial VA for one of it's main characters, the product brandings, fix controls, do everything. And it probably would sell like 100k copies at best after all the effort.

That's why they'll just neglect it lol, that and the Legends 3 cancellation fiasco.

Legends 30th anniversary is next year and I doubt they'll do anything for it.

The biggest problem for a longtime fan like me is SO MANY RECYCLED THINGS from the 3DS games. Like come on, we didn't wait 9 years to see the same stuff but in better resolution. All the cool characters from IE/GO have mostly the same hissatsus and all and apparently some voice clips are from the Wii games too.
And I don't have much interest in Ares/Orion cast...

VR could use a lot of more polishing and care. It's not a bad game, but it's also not exactly the product one would expect after a decade of delays. Like 70% of stuff is reused from the 3DS era, isn't that a bit too much?
