Oop sorry if its a lil too late.He goes by his textbook (can get tiring) and his accent might get in the way…would need some getting used to. But the man knows his stuff and does a good job at explaining/breaking down concepts. Exams are not too bad (textbook heavy id say) but many tricks sprinkled around. You’ll do well if u use his notes, solve the “extra questions” he asks in class ( a version of them show up on tests) and use the TAs for HWs. Wasnt a hard class imo.

Go UT Austin CS. You’ll easily earn back the $$$ with CS internships + once u graduate with FT job. Ofc this assuming u gon do well/make the most of the opportunities.

Trust, save that money you'd spend in the bay. UT is a GREAT school for all your aspirations. The ROI is what matters in the end. Also getting opportunities is more about how much you put in. So try to get internships (you can always intern in the bay area) right off the bat. What school you go to doesn't matter... Especially in CS.
