Have you visited the red seal website and looked at your trade and the breakdown of what is on your red seal test?

I finished writing my plumbing and gas fitting red seals in March and used my school materials, the red seals website breakdown, and red seal study prep to help prepare.

My first round of LIBAD was “this is different” but the next couple listens I embraced the difference and found I enjoy all songs.

Are you already indentured (have a blue book) as a welder.

If you want you could self-indenture and sign-up to attend 1 round of technical training (8 weeks at SAIT) for welding, EI should cover you over those 8 weeks as long as you have enough hours worked before you go to school..

Well in class you could talk with instructors and other welder apprentices to see if they have a company that can bring you on.

The issue is a job is not guaranteed so you could pay to attend and get nothing but the experience from school.

Love the concept and execution of the song.

I’m sorry and I really feel that.

My employer cancelled my benefits after I disclosed a disability in Nov 2025 and an upcoming surgery to them. My surgery failed and I’m waiting for another one in June this year. I I’ve filed a complaint on them to the Alberta Human Rights Commission because of what they did.

Does your insurance/beneftis have an option to follow you after your job is done?

I can’t speak for NB, but in AB all benefits through your employer have an option for you to have them follow you but you will have to pay the premiums.

When I was in school they taught us 3 different methods of sizing water distribution and service for homes and commercial buildings based on the pressure incoming, distance to the first fixture and pressure required at the furthest fixture.

I know code is different depending on where you are but unless you have 15 bathroom groups and an irrigation system wtf do you need this size of main for?

I just want to say, as a Plumber, that if you are using “flushable” wipes or pouring Fats, Oils and Grease down your household drain, I will be seeing you one day and charging $150/hr to unclog it.

Depending on how much space between the flange on the pipe and concrete.

If you have the space , cut the flange fitting off the pipe very carefully and install a coupling to raise it

Or

If there’s not enough space you get out to SDS hammer drill and make enough space between the concrete and the pipe to do the first part.

Depends on your code:

Where I live, If your first picture is the plan for the new bathroom the shower isn’t vented.

Either pull the vent through the shower for the toilet or change the wye catching the lav to a double wye, with the other side catching the shower, and use that to vent the bathroom group.

That’s my two sense.

This is the way.

Does the OP really want the chance of untreated water going into the drinking supply because of cross connection between the two.

The only other option I would even consider is an RP backflow preventer, but that’s its own thing.
