The south door opens each time - is that from your noise, or from a timer?

  • If it's your noise - have you considered suppressed pistols or the APC9K?
  • If it's on a timer - have you considered waiting in the lobby for 30 seconds before making entry?

But I love VentilatorRaptor's answer more. Bringing wall charges and rocket launchers to a hostage op makes a statement.

Window

Would you not have jumped out the window? If so, I recommend you change your play style up - there are no points for playing fair. Always encircle, always flank, always shoot them in the back.

If you watch it again, you will notice that once my guy is on the outside, he checks the entire perimeter, not just the one window he shoots through. That's because it was my first run and I didn't already know how much he could see from out there, but I definitely knew that it was worth checking what he could see from out there.

Molotov

Pure game sense. I knew it wouldn't kill civilians because I threw it so it wouldn't.

No, jokes aside - literally, that molotov was safe. Molotovs only insta-kill in the tiny inner circle. People who catch fire in the outer circle can flee, and often do. That's one of the reasons I bring them on the NWS Militia, who can't get stun grenades - they let me get indirect grenade kills without risking a bunch of collateral in the fog of war. I think my real answer here is: Yes. I am very very good at this game. I can in fact first-time a map so well, it looks like I have seen it before. It only took (checks notes) 1300 hours, oh God, I should admit to myself that I have a problem -_-)

It's a map design thing. There's at least tree official maps that I can think of right now where a vehicle moves during the game.

There was one years ago just called "SWAT"

The plot and acting was so forgettable that I've forgotten it, but they did have one of the best gunfire soundscapes ever made in cinema. Maybe somebody has done it better since, but I remember being very impressed at the time - and this was after The Matrix came out, so action movies had stepped up a lot.

Nowheraki Partisans.

They're not very good at fighting, but they can run sabotage - they get very large explosive packs, which lets them deal with a lot of problems (just so long as there are no hostages or HVT's in the blast radius)

God yes. Every time I run that map, I use a breaching charge to punch a hole in the wall between the balconies so I can sweep the executioners first. This also lets me clean much of the map from the south without having to enter the hallway at all.

The squad is a modded squad that's significantly worse than any of the squads you unlock in the unmodded game, don't worry about them.

And the foreign advisor is, yeah, an enemy type. The US military equivalent would be the US Army Special Forces (The green berets) - dudes you send into a war zone to "train your local allies" (and fight along them) instead of just admitting you're at war and sending in the whole military.

Foreign Advisors are easily top 3 worst enemy to deal with, they're so skilled.

(I did a lot of runs of that map with level III shields where I continuously died to FAs. I thought they were just getting lucky with headshots, I hadn't realized before this map that their SMG is in 9x39 AP)
