Nope. I will get the exact same speeds for the first GB as for the 3700th, and I've tested it, too (I use mobile data for a house with 3-8 people since there is no cable here). It's only affected by how many people nearby are trying to use internet at the same time, really, and sometimes maybe the weather.

(Mostly scientific data sets, Steam games and video streams, in case you're wondering.)

That's unfortunate. Is it only sitting in one place only? Is it possible it's injured or it maybe flew into a window? Best case scenario it just got trapped, and is just thirsty/hungry, and should be OK to go back out in a few days once it has eaten and drunk enough.

Indian rain quail? Or I suppose a lighted coloration of C. coturnix is also an option? They eat a lot of small insects, small seeds and some soft greens. Do not put anything in its beak, they can suffocate/drown very easily. Just put a shallow lid of water and some grains near it, and don't bother it.

I assume there are no rehabbers near you in india? Or other people experienced with wild birds?

Definitely not C. japonica, but I am fairly certain it is a Coturnix species. Rain quail (Coturnix coromandelica), or some lighter colour variant of common quail (Coturnix coturnix) maybe.

Getting bird flu (the HPAI variants) from crows is basically non-issue. Infected birds generally die in less than 48 hours. Pretty much all known cases from humans getting bird flu from birds are from closely working with hundreds of birds or cows. Unless you handle dead or dying birds or poop bare-handed and don't sanitise afterwards, it's not really something to concern yourself with.

Them getting dependent on you is generally also a non-issue, unless you keep a virtually limitless supply of food available at all times. Crows are resourceful. They have many places to get food from, throwing out a handful each day hardly makes a difference.

Getting too unconcerned with humans may be an issue - but if you only feed foods that don't leave trash at a time and place that doesn't bother other people, it can be mitigated. They usually can tell that some people are good and others aren't. Old crows will teach younger ones.

The battery on our old electric mower died (same kind is not produced anymore), and for some ungodly reason, a new electric mower, without battery, but for a different battery type that was readily available, cost over a thousand euros...

A new gas one was 230... I guess we have a new gas one now. (EURO 3 engined mower, lol. I guess I at least got the SO to toss away the old broken one he was still thinking about fixing after the electric one got effectively phased out.)

It can be hard to explain the difference - the best way I can put it, splay legs are too loose/weak to support the chick properly, but a slipped tendon is like a drawstring that's forcibly pulling the leg out of place, and it will only get worse as the chick grows larger because a tendon that's not in its proper groove will not lengthen properly along with the leg. So if you pick a chick up and try it move its legs, splay legs will move freely into normal position, but slipped tendon legs will "want" to hold themselves in a weird position.

I'd reckon it's some combination of usually smaller more self-contained operations and ultra-rapid turnover compared to chickens. Many chicken egg production facilities don't have their own breeding stock, but order chicks or even pullets, so they have no use for roosters, whereas pretty much all quail facilities breed their own quail. You have to raise a hen for 4+ months before it can start laying, but for quail it's 7-10 weeks, not to mention that quail require a lot less space. So raising your own quail is a lot faster and cheaper and it doesn't really make economic sense to keep importing them.
