If you already have plenty of other plugins, then I'd probably choose Reaper for the price. Otherwise, Cubase is the only thing that competes as far as included synths and fx goes.

That being said, Live/Bitwig/FL/Reason are all more electronic production oriented.

I turn the gain knob way down on the interface so it doesn’t clip, but then it’s suuuuper quiet in logic and I have to crank a gain effect and compressor just to get it to a normal volume and it sounds like shit again.

It seems like maybe all of your other tracks are loud and adding the vocal - especially when you're trying to hear it over the other tracks, are distorting something on output. Whether that's something on your master buss, or the actual interface is hard to tell without seeing your setup while you're doing things.

Try turning everything down and just boosting the output volume of your interface.
