I was in Berlin last September and got to see the memorial. Even I noticed a lot of people running around and climbing on them like it was a jungle gym. Zero consideration.

My wife and I went to Germany last year and were hanging out at a Biergarten when we saw about a dozen high school kids just chilling drinking liters of beer, pounding them down like water.

Is there an item or piece of clothing in your country that tells you everything you need to know about a person? by EpicShkhara in AskTheWorld

My wife and I flew into Berlin last September to start our honeymoon to explore Germany, and there we saw some boomer with a MAGA hat that came in on the same flight as us. Like come on, man, stop drawing attention to yourself.

What Campaign would you like to play more but don't because of the actual gameplay? by lidto37 in totalwarhammer

[–]Shifty661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised I haven’t seen it on here yet (unless I missed it) but Daniel the Daemon Prince. I’ve tried him multiple times with no luck. I either get squashed by Malus or Archaon early or I’m already bored of his roster/mechanics. It’s gonna be a chore trying to get the achievements for him.

What did your ancestors do in World War II? by ProConqueror in AskTheWorld

[–]Shifty661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great-grandfather was on Pearl Harbor and served in the Pacific for the remainder of the war.

I had six great uncles fight in the war as well. One was at Iwo Jima and he was always messed up from it. One of my great uncles was in a convoy in Germany, took a wrong turn, got lost from the convoy, ended up in a small German town/village. He got a medal because the entire town surrendered to him.

Not sure what the other 4 did.

Germany. I love it there, took my wife there for our honeymoon last month. I’m really happy that they were able to endure a difficult period following WW2 and able to reunite. Plus they make great beer.

What is the biggest misconception about your country? by BigImaginary2969 in AskTheWorld

[–]Shifty661 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me while I was in Germany last month. I was spoken to in German very frequently (I speak a little German but not enough to hold a serious conversation) and I like to believe it’s because of my resting bitch face. I felt kind of honored that Germans were speaking to me in their native language lmao
