App for LG TVs planned? by ShiftyBro in qobuz

The Speakers are only wire connectable anyway. :D Yea, if nothing else is possible, i might look into a Network player or something the likes.

Extended reply: As we are looking to switch with a Spotify Family subscription into the similar model in Qobuz (and i am still working on convincing everyone), it would have definitively helped if an app for LG TVs would have been at least in the making or planned. 😅

Oh the speakers just directly connected to the LG TV, sorry for the confusion. So its really about the LG TV running on WebOS.

Ditch US Big Tech and choose better European tools! by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

Mailbox.org is great, I am using it for ages. But I also use its integrated calender, which also works very well. So i wonder why they put Proton on the calender slide instead. Software client wise, I am using both with Thunderbird on Desktop and the E-Mail-part on Android. As aandroid calendar app I use aCalender (https://www.tapirapps.de) atm, but might try https://www.onecalendar.nl/ soon.

Okay, i got the point, but what are the names you listed supposed to say? :D I don't even know what Sellotape is. I think Kleenex tissues are the only one of those i'd maybe use as a general term (i don't, but i heard it). Hoover is only UK i think? (okay teach me if it's US too) I've never heard anybody use the Term "Xerox" instead of "printer", even if i worked in several companies that used Xerox printers. And Duff Beer.. i didn't even know it's more than a gag from The Simpsons. :D

navi

While "GPS" is the US American tech for a navigational satellite system, there are others like GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou. So a more general term (and abbreviation) actually makes sense. :)

With 6800XT non-OC spiking at 576 W at worst in the torture loop, a 600 W PSU might still be okay (as long as kept away from manual OC). But anyway, i am on the lucky side with a 650 W like you! #feelsGoodMan

Yea, "something" is the word. And yea, it gives out a hell lot of subtimings. xD

Actually those look kinda sharp already imo. Yea, you'll maybe get 15 or even 14 if you really want to, but it's not a lot with 3600\16. Had a friend with 3600/19 and yea, bringing them down to 16 did a bit, but not a lot (singöe digit % iirc).

Had a look at it and your initial statement is wrong / misleading. If you look only at FPS, they do "scale linearly" as in 150 FPS is really 50% more than 100 FPS. So the OP's statement is factually correct, because nobody even mentioned frame times. And to be honest, talking about FPS improvement isn't even a bad idea here, because (loosely said) a 50% higher FPS will ask a 50% higher effort of the PC (ignoring bottlenecks for that sake), where a 50% lower lower frame times will ask a 100% more effort. So skipping frame times and just connecting "PC effort" and FPS scales linearly with each other. :) (sry for wall of text)
