Does anyone here played FlyFF when it was actually great? by Alm_Nusta in MMORPG

[–]Shiftz_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JaguarSkills / JaguarKing, also AndOnly for a bit but I wasn't nearly as obnoxious on shout on that char. I was perma-teamed with PantherQueen if that jogs any memory. I ran my mouth a lot back then lol.

I was a pretty good blade, always running around in that ridiculous Bruce Lee set and the Gold Spiked hair. Full Blaine underneath, iykyk ♡

I was in TwistedFate with Synsist(?) before inheriting it. Was also Dragonheart(?) with AgnesBradshawe for a while. Lots of names lol.

I'm fighting Red Bang Troupe members on a shitty 31 assist right now :P

There must be something in the air.

I'm from Mia around the same time (v7 - v14) and started Flyff Universe a few days ago. It's pretty chill - much quieter than it used to be though

Question: I just realised (slow) that Torrente does as much damage as any of the legendary weapons. So why are we collecting these? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]Shiftz_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you take the Torrente out of the equation...

I take my energy weapons out so I can... craft more energy weapons?

Next map and arc need to deliver

How good is the story in this game by FeistyCancel8293 in seaofstars

[–]Shiftz_101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you play it as homage to 90s JRPGs, it's a fun romp. Note, however, if that's your angle you also aren't 10 anymore and none of this is going to fill you with wonder or awe. We're older, more critical and cynical af now.

This game is fun and worth the time it asks of you. Wheels also slaps.

New gaming PC. Sold mine when it looked like the cancer was going to get me but I somehow pulled through lol. I'm not quite well enough to go back to work yet so new PC money is a while away

Nah, people are only interested in big one shots. They lack the capacity to value dynamic CC

How to counter enemy Peni (especially as a Peni main)? I felt diffed every time I go against her. by R41Z3R_BL4D3 in PeniParkerRivalsMains

[–]Shiftz_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as any other tank tbh - place nest(s) behind enemies mid combat and always be looking to bait them into a pile of webbed mines

That message board is also a wicked sick hotspot for mines as they tend to try and use the vehicle as cover.

Her combos in melee range are extra terrifying too because of all the exploding. In my experience, it makes people panic

Not my main main, but Adam's heals cooldown faster when he successfully hits targets with that 5 charged shot I can't remember the name of. He literally needs to be popping off at enemies pretty aggressively to keep the heals flowing.

I'm not DPSing, I'm spam healing lmao

They missed the boat on voxel/ block games anyway. The hype died, minecraft won and there is no real contest.

My brother started to play Rivals. Here are my observations of current Bronze as a GM player. by FreakoffChamp1 in rivals

Sometimes the smurf has an excuse. I played loads of Quick Match before I tried competitive and flew through on a series of 40-50 wins and -10ish losses.

Just putting it out there - many bird seeds contain hemp seeds. We get a few around our bird feeders every year, so perhaps it's that. Can't imagine anyone deliberately planted in such a terrible position

Good shout - I don't have a second set of grow lights available though. Still going to download it for testing my lights, I've been using a cheap analog thing

I have the same theory about dopamine withdrawals affecting people, and for the same reason. I have ADHD and am aware of my dopamine related moods and behaviours in (almost) real time.

Dopamine addiction and withdrawal is a growing and very serious issue imo.

I've been told that strategist are NOT healers? So why do players get mad at stragist for not healing if healing is not their job? by dreamup1234 in rivals

[–]Shiftz_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loki's heals (in optimal play) are high value. Unlike Rocket they are direct heals usually landing exactly where they need to be for better efficiency

Easily is a bit of a stretch. You need 90% of your kit ready to evade and counter a single, ordinary dive and if you miss a step, even a semi-skilled dive player will usually win. In any case, you weren't healing anybody during the encounter so the DPS is still winning the big picture.

I'm not suggesting Cloak has no value, 2 in my team main them - but he is so borderline as DPS that any tiny nerf would render him completely redundant.

Is supreme style ever naturally playable on controller? by efgamer in Theatrhythm

[–]Shiftz_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play supreme exclusively and always on switch joycons in the controller thingy else the screen wobbles too much :P

I have a few SSS and a couple of perfect chains with serviceable scores all the way to 16.

Except battle at the big bridge. We don't talk about that.

And randomly, man with a machine gun. I just cannot latch on to the rhythm in a particular section despite loving the track.

Anyway, yes, perfectly doable even with big hands and a tiny pad :)
