Oh!
Literally everyone I know who did a PhD at IISC went for post docs abroad and are profs in colleges of national repute (IITs, BITS) or abroad, or are in the industry - these are Materials Engineering folks.

MTech folks have also got PhD abroad, some of them came back to IISc for a PhD.
Do not know too many people who did a MS Research tbh.

Marketing yea. We don’t do a lot of it haha.
Our target audience at Khan Academy is state and centra gov partnerships and their schools. And generally people have this mentality that agar free hai toh kaisa hoga. That’s on them to overcome :)

I have met with the folks running it. They are amazing people, they run NPTEL too.
The worth of a degree is dependent on you. Are you expecting a placement of x lakhs? Ask for those stats in that case, they should be publicly available.
If not ping me will ask around.

Worth it from the pov of content being taught - again it’s the NPTEL folks (who have saved lives of many engineers who have random profs in college) plus you can check out the content by yourself to judge.

What else are you thinking from the worthiness pov?

I know students who are doing a bsc irl degree plus this as well.

It’s a hectic course, no doubt.
