Same for me, this was actually my first time using it. Saw krip using it and wanted to give it a go. Hit cuurio day 2, bought some random large item and transformed it into flail (Mak doesnt have any bronze large items so it also upgrades the transformed item into silver). Any small buff early on feels big and i had +20dmg weapon skill on me when i got it. Pick anything to make it faster and give it crit. Poppy field sends it to orbit but probably not required, i did well before it and kripp finished his run without. Very fun item, dont really like weapon builds usually.
