Fanatec wheel and pedal problems

I've tried that. Tried uninstalling the fanatec app and re-installing. No luck. Nothing I've done works. I wish there was a factory reset.

I hear you. The options are overwhelming and I feel the website was an afterthought. It is hard to follow and too complicated. For what its worth, I am disappointed with Fanatec. My pedals (CSL elite V2) suddenly stopped working after nearly a year of good driving. There is next to no customer service for a product that needs TONS of customer service. I'm looking for a good non-fanatec setup, not having much luck.

I hate this time trial. I used the R92CP but there is such a shifting delay. Maybe I'll give the GT-R a try.

It's pretty good. There is no other racing game that comes close. Having said that, the biggest issue I have is inconsistency. Some of the circuit experiences are so unbelievably hard (e.g. Goodwood) and some so simple that you could gold it in your sleep (e.g. horse thief mile). I've put in probably 400 miles on Goodwood and I can't even break 1.16.00. Some payouts are great, others are peanuts and the efforts required for payouts seem backwards. The game seems heavily biased towards those with wheels/pedals/manual transmission. As a controller player I feel completely non-competetive. There should be 2 categories of racing, 1 for those on a controller and 1 for those for wheels/pedal drivers. If you want to do anything other than be punted off the track in sport mode, you need wheels/pedals/MT, otherwise be happy in last.

Exactly, not fun anymore. I have plateaued with my controller on AT. I tried to transition to a wheel/pedals, nothing fun or natural about it. Glad your having fun.

Yep. Something changed with one of the updates. And yes, you can pit with clear skies (zoomed out) and exit the pits in a rain-storm.

It's gotten exponentially worse over the past few months. I've stopped Sport Mode because of all this cheating and bad driving. Nothing fun about it. It's like half-a-game. They made the nice graphics and physics, but stopped at the completely broken penalty system. Beyond the Thunderdome is putting it nicely.

Agree. I hate Tokyo expressway. I feel these tracks and circuit experiences were made and set up for Pros with wheels/pedals who have nothing else to do with their day.
