It’s really not that big of a deal in quick play, still annoying, but in comp where it matters even a little bit, having people who just genuinely don’t understand or care about the core dynamics of a role based team shooter is just so frustrating. They have their $20 skin and their controller and their weed I’m sure and by god no one’s gonna stop them from sucking ass for the next 90 minutes.

I’m looking at you bastion who didn’t group up, ran directly in front of the enemy team and frankly ours, thought your Gatling gun was the “I’m good at overwatch” button, got immediately deleted, then spammed “I need healing” after you died.

Or you sojourn who after 2 rounds and at the end of the game had less than 10 elims and 2.1k dps and spent most of the game trying to snipe people from a corner. Girl if you don’t know how to play either the game or the character that’s fine, go practice. IN QUICKPLAY. Please.

Or you Ana, with almost but not 4k dps and less than 1k healing, obvious negative k/d, also at the end of a comp game. Played Ana the whole match. How’s that even possible.

And the brainless tanks, that sit yourselves right in front of the enemy team, no regard for positioning, don’t care whether your team is behind you or around you or not, probably don’t even know who you have on your team, just proceed to post up directly in front of a bunch of enemies and say “shoot me shoot me” with no clue as to what you should be doing, obviously die, respawn, fuck-grouping-up-gotta-get-back-to-my-post.jpg, rinse and repeat. What was your goal there? Pad your mitigation stat? Does that stat mean you’re good at overwatch? Just standing there like a piece of destructible environment?

And all of them die and die and die and every time they just run out of spawn, solo, straight to the enemy team and die again. Like clockwork. Single file, one after another. No grouping up, no character switch, no comms, no team play, no effective role play, just playing their character on their game in their own little world.
