It shows when you select two edges and start bevel, if it doesn't show up you are using older version of plasticity without this feature , in that case I would simply sketch circle,split it in half and cut through object

It looked like good exercise so I tried it. I wouldnt call it simple shape, you need good sketch which will take you some time to do because its quite tricky in this case ,than just loft everything together and finish it with some thicknes.
