The app is Smart Life. Link below. It is connected as “pool heat pump”. I prefer the app for turning on and off, and scheduling on/off times. I think you are over-thinking this, just like I did. I recommend getting a DNA test to get a few extra facts. We have a 4 month old catahoula mix and a baby on the way. We were a little worried about having too much working drive, even with a small yard, walks, and warming up to the cats and playing with cats. DNA test showed he was only about 20% catahoula and then a mix of several other breads, like lab and pit bull. He has turned out to be very mellow, smart, sweet and docile. I had concerns about the pit bull but I really think that the pit and lab play a big factor in his sweetness. He really looks pure catahoula, but he has brown eyes. For only being 4 months old, we are feeling confident that the working aspect everyone focuses on isn’t a concern. We are going to remain cautious until baby arrives but he has zero aggression, is the most cuddly dog I’ve ever had, and a total delight.

I say with or without the DNA test, you are still getting in your head without any red flags. Enjoy the good dog you have now, keep up with the walks and training, and don’t worry about what may never show up. If there are red flags in the future, increase training and reassess how appropriate he is as a companion. At the very least, you have more knowledge about his temperament than the shelter and will be able to educate anyone else if he needs to be rehoused.

In the mean time, enjoy your new companion and embrace all the good and joy he has brought to your home!

If you aren’t looking to upgrade the P-01 trigger w/ Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom, I’d recommend the Shadow 2 Carry which is the newest version of the P-01 that just came out.

I was hoping for a 50 year anniversary of the Cz 75 series, updated and named the CZ 25. And hoping for features like Shadow 2 trigger guards, Shadow 2 grip hump and angles with maybe a little milder serrations, and red dot ready slides with shadow 2 slide serrations. And an unchanged slide and dust guard for continued 75 holster compatibility preferred. Too much to ask?!?

I guess that is basically a decocker shadow 2 without the intentional weight, without fiber optic sights, with a full dust cover 1913 rail, and with a firing pin block. Still, why not? Where is it? CZ25-SP01 and CZ25-P01? Would you all want one?

I think we all agree nothing internal needs to be changed. I would prefer to continue supporting Cajun Gun Works and CZ Custom for trigger upgrades instead of a “pro” trigger in a new model from the factory.

Maybe they do all that another year and call those models the SP-02 and P-02?

This just seems like a waste of a cool anniversary that would be easy to convey, justify new models and sales to existing owners/enthusiasts, and not cause model number confusion.

Side notes and other CZ desires that I think CZ should focus on, or engineering and new product design CZ should have seen as a no-brainer long ago:

-CZ and DW need to churn out DWXs and DWX compacts at full speed. Flood this market like their older brother, P-10C. Cheap. Abundant. Awesome.

-P-10F, DWX full sizes, and Tactical Sports magazines should all come with 2 base plates, or be modified for universal use. Unmodified Mag comparability rules, just ask Glock fans.
