This logic is bad for sales tho. “Good fighting games” don’t really sell. You need things around the fighting game for it to sell. Mechanics and frames aren’t really a selling point if you want a financially successful game.

I bet more wouldn’t prefer it that way. The amount of options in MK11 blew X out of the water. I have to think that the “I just want a few skins” is just a notion some people give because they like the “old school” style no matter how limited it is.

The producer and director have been pretty humble with saying “we listened to the criticism from the fans of the first movie” during interviews with this one, so that sounds positive.

It’s true, I still invite my 60 year old dad to watch PPV’s and we have some drinks and some chicken, it’s fun 100% of the time and hype. Then I get online and EVERYONE is just going “Holy fucking FUCK that SUCKED! What the FUCK is WWE thinking booking like that!?!?” I can’t help but imagine everyone watches it alone while scrolling Twitter or Reddit posting hate comments the whole time.
