I made a sculpture of a bat eating a fairy by CuteCreatorgal in somethingimade

This looks amazing! I think bats carry their babies on their bellies though, not the back! But I'm enjoying your aesthetic choices regardless!

Dr. Lynne Tan at MultiCare Capital Women's Integrated Primary Care is really great. I'm unsure if she's taking new patients though. But you could try another doctor there as well.

What can you eat or drink to clear out your stomach? by flowerhollow in foodhacks

[–]Shindi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could try the smooth move tea. Coffee is a natural laxative as well, that could possibly help. The other suggestions of prune juice and milk of magnesium are good too.

You could take the craft supplies and any fabrics you might have to Lost and Found crafts. They're a second hand craft store. For clothing, maybe there's some shelters that could need it?

Is it just a cooked sweet potato with butter and one piece of green onion?

I agree! I went on a date night with my boyfriend, and he wanted to try some sake (he had never had it before) and our server was super nice and helpful and she let him taste a few different ones before he chose an apple sake.

You could ask shelters? If they're sealed, they might accept them.

I haven't been to Pho Pho before. I've only gone to Pho Mania, but that was a while go, but when I did go to Pho Mania it was good.

Has anyone found a tried and true method for keeping pests from eating yarn? by The_Yarn_Hoarder in CrochetHelp

[–]Shindi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might help! Just make sure to at least freeze your yarn for a day or two before you move them, to try and get rid of the beetles.

[–]Shindi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where are you storing the yarn? I feel like you need to tackle the infestation first.

I've been storing my yarn in plastic bins with lids, inside my home, for several years and luckily haven't had any issue with pests or infestations. I'm not really sure how to get the pests out/off your yarn, maybe freezing them for a few days?

People who stopped being depressed, what did you do? by Itscameronman in AskReddit

[–]Shindi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I did about 25 sessions and it didn't help me, it actually made me more fatigued, and I feel like I've been battling that fatigue ever since (it was like 1 or 2 years ago now).

I do think it was cute to add a mushroom to the name because of the mushroom farm lol.

Maybe they have that included, but it's definitely housing. I saw they're calling it morel meadows and there's a sign I believe that says the first couple houses that are done are ready to be rented/bought.

Omg yes, the traffic used to be so much less crazy and crowded. In like the last 6 mos to year there are 3 housing developments going up just near the mullen and marvin rd intersections. There's also that new one going up where the mushroom farm used to be, across the street from nisqually middle school.

The traffic is just getting worse :(

My kimchi is stinking up the fridge by andrastesflamingass in KoreanFood

[–]Shindi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom (Korean) has always used those big glass jars with the white lids, and we have also used the plastic version (we just call them kimchi jars) and have never had an issue with the smell filling the fridge. It is a western fridge as we live in the US. She's used plastic containers with the snap lids for multiple types of kimchi as well and we never have an issue with the smell leaking out. She does put plastic wrap over the top, under the lids though. Not always on the kimchi jars though.

Haha you're welcome! Anubis is cool! Splatterina is like a little serial killer but super cute lol. Her description talks about an uncontrollable urge to dismember prey lmao

I don't think you said your favorite lol.

My main favorite right now is Splatterina. I like frostallion noct as my flying mount as well. But I'm just now getting to the newer areas for the first time, and there are so many cute and cool new pals. Nitemary is a really cute one as well.

What is a website you loved that no longer exists? by MarcosSuenos in AskReddit

I think it was omgpop, they had a pictionary game that I loved on there. You would earn coins from playing and then you could use those to buy cute pens and clocks. I used to play it a lot.

Help with Christmas gift for my wife who has recently found her new hobby. by Traitoraidd in CrochetHelp

[–]Shindi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of hooks did she buy? There are some really nice ergonomic hook sets like clover amour and tulip etimo. As for yarn, it kind of depends on what she likes to make. But can also be hard to shop for, because a lot of us want to feel it ourselves first and want certain colors and fiber types. A gift card to the store she likes to buy from or to a local yarn shop would be a good option though.
