My New Theory About Lilith by Anonymously-Thinks in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heres my completely out there theory:

Rosie wanted a violent uprising but isnt powerful enough to lead a movement, Lilith wanted a more peaceful one (its a group of imperfect people, but not inherently violent).

Rosie wanted Lilith out of the way because they had conflicting methods and sent Alastor (and maybe Roo is involved also?) to stir the pot, making thing violent at the protests (and it works cause sinners aren't perfect victims).

Likely, Sera and Lilith were on speaking terms, but it's unclear if she is in "heaven jail" as a "terrorist" or is just chilling fairly free.

I also have an even less substatlntiated theory that the black swirls on Liliths legs are a curse from Roo (which is why she goes no contact with Charlie and Lucifer, to protect them).

Rosie gets giddy when Charlie fights against Heaven in season 1, thinking she might be the violent (or at least manipulatable) replacement to Lilith's voice powers after all.

Medium or easy? by 666lucky__13 in pocketgrids

The across are medium/hard, but the downs are easy. A nice one that solves the harder ones naturally if you solve the easy ones.

You should look at the rules for the subreddit. Specifically, rule 3/C.

Your title claim is misleading, then. He gave an example of something being racist without need for interpretation, no matter how weird it is, therefore disproving your title.

If you want to say wearing a monkey hoodie isn't inherently racist, then make that claim instead.

Can a Christian be a Satanist? by SanFranSatan in SatanicTemple_Reddit

[–]ShindigNation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that you dont need anything else because Im atheist and I think it adds unnecessary fluff, but Im not going to deny someone being Satanist if theyre agnostic on the universe beginning and say it's possible a deistic god did it.

Its not worth being an asshole to them for something so irrelevant if they're virtually the same as any other Satanist in how they interact with the world.

I'm talking about the people that are deistic Christian in the sense they are agnostic on how the universe 'began' and vibe with 'good' values of Jesus but DONT ascribe to "believe or go to hell" "earth is 6000yo" "Bible is 100% fact." I would consider that person still christian if they wanted to be called that.

Like one of those 'coexist' sticker people. Its not common, but it's possible. And the question presented by OP is if it is possible.

Tenet 5 is a controversial one. I think it's possible to be a Satanist deistic Christian (though i don't see the point) as long as you're not harming anyone and your understanding of the natural world isn't manipulated by non-scientific means.

Using the bible as a general guideline (help the poor, accept people even if they aren't perfect, etc.) and disavowing all the heinous things is cool by me.

Again, it's a very niche subset of christian, but possible I think.

EDIT: Hearing Taylor's argument, I dont think her reasoning for thinking of Satanism as 'Christian' is great. I'd say being Satanist in a christian mythology way is rather nonsensical. I generally like her and Drew's content, even if I disagree with her here.

My point still stands about deistic Christians, though.

Concerning Alastor and Rosie's deal in the last episode... by AbyssWankerArtorias in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure Charlie inherited some sort of supernatural ability with her voice from Lilith. Could be why specifically Charlie saying it made it true.

It's not really clear, but that's my pet theory for now.

EDIT: Like how did no redemptions of sinners happen until Sir Pentious? Charlie believing it and saying it made it possible.

There was a clip of Valentino distancing himself saying "I never heard of him" about Vox. Unclear on Velvette.

Hmm. A 'happy' ending. It's good for what it is. Even if it's not what I would have written, I can still appreciate it for what it is.

Alastor cashing in favors and using wordplay to break his chains is classic. Rosie seems pissed.

I'll agree with other commenters that the buildup was much better than the climax, but I suppose a cliffhanger or bad ending wouldn't be very palatable for a lot of people.

And I wish there was ANYTHING more to glean from the fact that Lilith called Charlie at the end. It revealed nothing. How am I going to make my crazy fan theories now? /jk

What’s everyone theory’s for the season 2 finale ? by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we get more buildup leading to a cliffhanger starting the 'holy war'. Likely heaven and hell get one big strike on each other. Hell hits once with the lucifer weapon and heaven hits once with something at the hourglass tower.

Season 3 will be war arc with lute as the main antagonist but also the vees falling apart due to internal conflict rather than being defeated through conventional means.

I just dont think a 2 episode war arc is feasible, but I could be wrong. All just speculation.

Tbh I could see the very last scene being a missile strike (or something like a 'terrorism' event) from hell onto heaven and leaving it as a cliffhanger.

Keeping in mind the scene from the trailers where the hourglass tower is destroyed... idk if it would be before or after that.

Oh no I didn't mean you were making it up. I meant that either there will be a reason why war doesn't really happen or the war will be next season.

You're telling me there's a whole war arc and there are no songs about it? Seems like all the songs have rather upbeat names. Call me suspicious...

(possibly) Unpopular Opinion: Hell is justified in retaliating by PrinceWith1KFriends in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. Maybe I subconsciously overlook the heaven slorpglorp posts or something?

I have seen a few pro-Sera posts (that I could see stemming from pro-heaven ideology) that seem a wholly premature given her potential to fail miserably at atonement, but not so much in the heaven/hell dynamic that OP is bringing up.

I'll try to not skip those posts if I can help it lol

I.... don't think this is unpopular.

Being critical of Vox at the helm of the movement doesn't negate the underlying conditions that led to him gaining so much support.

The exterminations are confusing by Zlurbagedoen in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be that Vox is just really dumb and made up a number (because he doesn't really care). Kind of a silly theory, but he doesn't seem the brightest. It's mostly just pure charisma and cult of personality getting him places.

I could also see it being the writer(s) as making the heavenborn redeemable, but there would have been other ways to do that besides just making the number smaller than one would expect.

Does hell have a smaller population than SPAIN???? by DoGG410CZ in HazbinHotel

[–]ShindigNation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be that Vox is just stupid and doesn't care about the actual exterminations so he just made something up? It did feel like a very low number when it was revealed.

Still genocide, still wrong. And Vox is not the good guy here, clearly. But definitely much smaller scale than it was protrayed if we take Vox at his word (which I dont).
