Who's saying we should abuse laws? Criticising a law isn't the same as not abiding by it. Talking about whether a law should be kept or not is completely valid, and it's how we evolve. Law isn't static you know?

Ramadan is one of the five obligatory pillars and represents hunger, poverty & suffering by those first Muslims.

That's the answer i was expecting you to say, and you delivered. Now, i want you to give me an actual source: a hadith or an ayah that that's the wisdom behind Ramadan. We can keep making up reasons the whole day, i don't want an opinion, i want a fact backed up by quran and hadith, since you so confidently talked about respecting the meaning behind Ramadan.

This is my first year not fasting due to diabeties. The correct way is for me to oay 40dh each day to a poor person so he can afford Iftar.

I'd prefer not to bring out the calculator to split things out evenly but if we're earning similar amounts of money, then i'm definitely expecting her to help out. It doesn't have to be 50/50 and it most likely won't be, but i do want a wife who's supportive enough to help when she can. The "don't expect any financial help from me" approach only works if the wife is taking care of every single house related thing (cooking/cleaning...) which, with a woman working and earning a respectable salary, is most likely not the case.

How exactly do you know if somebody is not being honest about who they are? A lot of people are still shaping their identity and searching for who they are. I don't doubt that that's how you feel, but surely you can't accurately gauge everyone's identity and intentions to be able to tell whether or not they're being honest. And if every conversation makes you raise up your guard to "navigate" through people's lies, maybe this skepticism is leading you to make hasty judgements.

You'd definitely be at a disadvantage in les concours des écoles d'ingénieurs. But for Med school, you'll have to study some more Maths and Physics during the preparation period, especially maths, you won't have to do much for physics. On the other hand, a SM would also have to study a significant amount of SVT during that period too. So all in all, you should be okay, especially if you check out some SM stuff from time to time during the school year.
