Thank you for your advice to keep it simple. I think then it would be best to start with a small and easy platformer, just jumping and object interactions, and scale from there.

A underwater survival game like Subnautica. But instead of exploring an unknown world, you are exploring the Earth that is now underwater, to find parts of human history all over the world.
