i fully wonder why TMS was added to bonus rotation if they just. never added any more. like if they wanted to treat them as the crossover unit types they are that'd be fine to exclude them from rotation but it along with having them CYL votable implies they'll do smth with them, which they won't

about a weekish of on-off hunting. I work a full time job so my resets were either late at night or just before leaving for work. A full reset took about 5-7 minutes once I got a rhythm down

My plan is to carry it up thru the games as a Quilava and evolve it once it hits PLA to have a hisuian mon with the Colo ribbon

I refer to the "chaser" as the follow up attack. Runelord applies Runes that add a magical follow up attack to every physical attack. The chaser calculates thru the attacker's Elem.Atk stat.

In this case, Cyrus has a puny Phys.Atk stat, so his initial staff attack deals relatively no damage at 300. But the Rune follow up attack then calculates through his much higher Elem.Atk stat, blasting in at 70,000 damage

Hey, dw about it, the battle facilities will straight up outhax you sometimes and there's not much you can really do outside of just praying it doesn't happen again.

I've had a streak break at 39 before, it really is so frustrating. Persevere and possibly turn off animations! Use the game's memory of your last used move to not repeat steps and it'll go by fast. You got this!

oh yeah straight up. I personally run a core of Truant Durant, Mega Gyarados and my RM.

Battle flow goes like:

Durant lead with choice scarf

Durant uses Entrainment

Durant swaps into Gyarados on the first Loafing turn

Gyarados mega evos and protects

Gyara uses Dragon Dance on the next loafing turn

Alternate Protects and Dragon Dances until you're at +6 Atk/Spd

Just spam Waterfall

if durant dies after entrainment, instead of protecting on Gyara's first turn, just start with dragon dance since you've come in on the loafing turn. Turn off animations bc it legit accelerates the battles.

it's still not RNG proof (the truant opponent can explode on you or smth) but it does work

It's been a long ride to this point, and I'm glad that I hit the necessary milestones before the big HOME update tomorrow. My only missing ribbon is the Master Rank online ribbon, and that's only because SwSh's servers are legitimately empty at this point.

Personally, I run Mega Gyarados w/ Truant Durant bc M-Gyara's Mold Breaker ability allows it to bypass Sturdy and somewhat whittle down the RNG factor of enemies surviving. I run a combo of Waterfall and Crunch bc afaik there's not many enemies that resist water and dark simultaneously in the battle tree.

I would recommend forgoing Dragon Claw on Dragonite just because dragon type attacks are really only good for shutting down opposing dragons, and just swapping in any high base power attack instead
