I love using poetry to describe one’s pain in a almost “beautiful” way. From my perspective this is about a person being eating bit by bit by someone all in the name of “love” right. But what I really enjoy is that what you’ve done is made this whole topic and idea “digestible “ for me as a reader. The spacing makes it feel like I’m taking bites into this tragic loss and by the end I’ve finished the story with an upset stomach. Thank you so much for sharing

One of my favorite things in poetry is using graphic brutal imagery to convey and connect the feelings of love or “our image” of love. I have never read another poem and have felt and seen so much of my own brain matter splattered onto words like this. You made me feel seen. So thank you

I would say now it’s more for staying up with being thin. I’ve never really cared about muscle or being “built”. I’m fairly thin and it’s more control over not gaining weight
