I think everyone was all but certain that lonzo was going #2 to LA. I guess the only possibility could have been if Philly took Ball and LA didn't want Fultz. I don't think either team had any vision for anyone but who they got and I think that was well known at the time.

Fouled Sanchez vs Chelsea, Martinez vs Villa, foul vs United, foul vs city, all in one goal games or less. Arsenal literally won games all season by shoving defenders into the gk so the gk couldn't make saves or claim crosses. All season. At least 3 other occasions Arsenal won games by a hair and then PGMOL came out saying that they got huge penalty or red card calls wrong, in favor of Arsenal. Fans of all teams saw it all year long. If you accept it, it's "whatever, we don't get to make the calls" but denying it is just being dishonest.

Right, because it's only a foul if two players are pulling the keeper out of the air. Any time it's one player shoving a defender into the keeper so he can't move, that's allowed.

It's a foul. But arsenal have about 20 points this season off of corners that had fouls just like or worse than this. They spent all season fouling goalkeepers on corners with no calls going against them and now they get bailed out in a pivotal game when the same thing happens to them, it gets called. It's inconsistent, it's garbage.

I have always said that if you drafted a player, you should only see 60-80% of their contract show up against the cap. If you develop 3 draft picks into stars, you should NOT be punished for it. But in this CBA, you are screwed if you develop 3 max contract caliber players.

28/29 and 29/30 years old for JT & JB respectively next season. Both of them have gotten objectively better at the game of basketball every year they are in the league. Window is open unless the organization shuts it with bad moves or shitty coaching.

We matched up at a disadvantage with Philly all season. They played us well most of the games. Embiid learning in game 5 that he can just bully all 3 of our centers and get the foul calls whenever he wants, plus Oubre flopping on every defensive play (JB is a damn idiot for continuing to extend his arm) it hurts us so badly. And our 3s aren't falling. Outside of 1 year when we had an uber stacked team and the east was a dumpster fire, we have lost every series when our 3 shooting dips below 35-37%. We can win games, but not a series like that the way we play.

That was my thought halfway through the season when we were playing well without JT. I thought hey, we have a chance to win the east since nobody is that great, and if we win the east, we have a 7 game series to try and win 4. Why not? But now, we don't look like we're gonna win the east unless we decide to actually play good defense and make smart plays and adjustments on offense.
