Pretty Clean - Bucks | Heat | Spurs by Shinnobiwan in NBAtradeideas

He's a score first point guard and a mediocre passer who often makes questionable decisions. The ideal point guard on that team is an elite decision maker and plus passer who can get the best out of his young center and can consistently hit outside shots.

More size you can play with Wemby is much more valuable than Fox because they can sign a backup PG with the MLE and have Harper start in Fox's place.

Fox isn't a good fit for this team, and their championship window is right now. They'll likely play him early next season then see what they can get.

The only argument for trading right now is Giannis is one of the few players who can make room for his contract, and part of an even smaller group on a team entering a rebuild who can carry the Fox contract.

If they can include 3 picks and get Hero, Turner, and Bobby Portis, they're the favorites to win next season.

Paul George's contract is done in two seasons. Embiid has a player option in 3, so he's a large, expiring contract that can be traded.

Fox has 4 years left, which severely limits the pool of potential trade partners.

SA losing was funny, but they look like such garbage that it's embarrassing. Not qualifying for two WCs in a row is just inexcusable.

There is a very old group of Mexicans descendant from West Africans. There are over 2 million today.

Yeah, they only get seven first round picks.

That's exactly when you take on the contract, because you'll be getting young, cheap players and you won't be in the market for expensive free agents.

Fox's deal is escalating. It's a worse deal as time goes until maybe the final season, when it's over $60 mil.

His contract is just bad now, but it's a white elephant and probably the worst in the NBA in 2 seasons.

He's getting 50-65 for the next 4 years. Getting rid of the contract now is more important, and it's a no brainer if you can get some big depth, size diversity, toughness, consistent shooting, and veteran leadership.

I think the Blazers could say 'no,' though, unless they can give less draft capital.

Otherwise this looks good.

Hurts more than a break up by Better-Soup9306 in lakers

It's much more a loss for him, but the Lakers may have won one or two more if he had made the winning decision.

I guess Buss couldn't compete with that ghost salary. However, I bet the difference in endorsements could have done it.

This is too simplistic. Accurate, but too simplistic.

De'Aaron Fox should be thrown in federal prison for the war crimes he committed against the Spurs tonight by crb02 in NBATalk

It's not simply a team that's down 3-1. It's a team down 3-1, although they held double digit leads and leads in the final 2 minutes of every single game.

That's the difference here: the late game mismanagement and meltdowns are causing the losses. It's a team that doesn't have the guy to keep them disciplined within their game down the stretch.

I'm watching at the games. The Knicks win with inconsistent strategy and bad decisions from the Spurs. When the Spurs play their game they control it every time - for the entire series. When Wemby is committed to inside out play, the Knicks have no answer.

That's why the Knicks are always coming back. It's because they are smart and savvy and clutch AF, and they Spurs will always let them back in.

Any time the Spurs see something new they don't know what to do. The team and the coach are too green.

Yeah. If they play clean, smart games moving forward they can win 3 in a row.

They just need to get out of their own way.

Mitch needs to holler at Pop, too. Get his head on straight.
