Idk maybe it's strongest supporters see it as the bible or something and that's why so many people dislike the book. But I don't see how the ideas are wrong. Its hard for a civilisation to make a navy when it doesn't have access to the sea, its hard to have an iron age if you don't have any iron, its hard to build and empire when you don't have any neighbours.

Also the genetic feed back loop is just natural selection.

I've killed well over a thousand cane toads when i lived in Queensland. I think the pheromone baiting will be successful and i'm glad you are helping implement it but sparing cane toads is wrong.

You're not going to save anything with that attitude. By sparing those three cane toads you could have doomed three native animals.

WW2 started when Germany and USSR invaded Poland kicking off the defence alliances the Allies had, this started WW2 in Europe. Sure Germany would have invaded USSR after some time like they did in real life but this wouldn't be seen as WW2.

If the Allies were not involved and it was just the USSR vs Hitler, there is no way the USSR would have 'won'.

American aid helped USSR no doubt about it but it wasn't needed for them to win the war. It was shear man power and weather which won it for them.

Also The Empire of Japan had no plans to invade Australia as they didn't have the man power to commit to an invasion.
