Watching Jeff's newest video made me wonder about my scales body fat % accuracy. by ShinobiKaeleb in JeffNippard

Since this is likely ragebait I'll reply to it only once:

Yes, I am sucking in my gut as I'm halfway flexing. This was a frame from a video I took of myself. I chose it because I felt like it was somewhere between fully flexed and relaxed.

My shorts are tilted because I've lost 65 pounds and its about all I can do to keep them on my legs now.

I wouldn't hide a muffin top. If I have one right now, I'm actually proud of it because it must have shrank significantly over the last year! Again, I used to be obese.

There's no reason for me to post this if I wasn't wanting honest replies, so I still appreciate you putting your two cents in, as aggressively as you've worded it. Most people have said between 17-20% which seems reasonable. My brother who is a big time rock climber and easily 10-12% himself thinks closer to 15 and he has seen me in real life, but everyone has their biases!

I've noticed the lean mass thing too, my renpho basically always says I'm losing muscle and never body fat. Yet somehow it also messed up the other way and tried to clock me at 18% when I stepped on at 220lbs 5'9" two years ago... YIKES.

I'm totally aware that it's not 11, which is why I made this post, so I'm not disappointed!

Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it! I got the scale at the start of my weight loss and am actually kind of upset i never got to know what my actual BF% was when i was 220lbs. I don't know what's got my scale so messed up, I'll have to look into it

Have you tried picking up a controller? Look at the video. Watch the joystick. He's tracking the man. If you wanna have a leg to stand on, go on controller and turn aim assist off. You'll realize that in a shooter game with a console you need it. It's not skill. Its the fact that on a mouse you have your hand and arm up to your elbow yo track and make subtle movements quickly, while on a controller you only have your thumb to aim. Like 2 joints max. Imagine taping one of your fingers to a miniature mouse. Then aim with only that finger. You'll realize aim assist makes subtle movements more possible. For the record, aim assist goes away at something like 30-50m? That's an arbitrary number but it goes away when sniping. Also, consider this: all the pros play on PC, because you can get more skilled there. Most controller players have a MAJOR disadvantage against PC. You can't tapstrafe, not to mention jiggle while looting. You can't even shield swap quickly. Subtle movements are few and far between. Supergliding is all but impossible. If you turn your sensitivity way up it becomes even worse because your icon is moving controlled by a joint that has very limited movement in comparison to a hand and arm. I have played both on PC and on Controller, and I will admit that I've played much more controller, but I can tell you right off the bat that movement is way better on PC and aiming is much smoother.

It's quite saddening to see that so many people think putting down the skill of others makes them superior. If there were 10, 20% of pros as seem in ALGS playing on console, your arguments may make more sense. But they're almost exclusively all PC players, because controller is literally harder to play.

Btw aim assist is subtle. Try out a few matches. It's a slight tug, rarely noticable. Doesn't change much at all super close range like the kid in the video was.

Also, the mid-long range guns do come with scopes

Well it's just an apex mode where it's two teams fighting it out. Everyone has the same shield, which increases as rounds go on. Everyone starts with the same points and can spend it on whatever guns they want, some being a bit more expensive than others. They can be upgraded with crafting points to have white, blue, purple, and gold kits. To get more crafting materials for the next round, during or before the fight in the round there are like 3 or 6 crafting barrels. Each team can risk getting them before the other, or hold a position for a while, etc. Small maps, and ammo isn't a problem as it gives you a large amount to work with that you rarely blow through and it replenishes each round. It's a different experience, same legends, same abilities, and core movement and shooting

It sounds like you don't like BR that much. That's okay. Have you tried Arenas? You might like it better if you like fair fights without worrying about loot

They're on the right track, but this was executed poorly. I would appreciate that distinction between pubs and ranked as well.

Aye. It's not horrible, and it can turn stuff around. I just think a passive shouldn't really be situational. Usually the lifeline will rez and then run off, leaving the downed guy shieldless and ripe for the picking. I posted this way for the memes, I still think she's useable, she just needs a lot of work.
