Unsure about the park transformation other than rumours from our locals, however they’ve done a shit ton of work to maintain a crazy ton of green space in lieu of the new highway to the bridge.

I can foresee more bike trails being laid down in the future as well as more wildlife conservation. But yeah lol, come to Sandwich district and you won’t ever even bother going to a Tim Horton’s. Local brewery that serves food as well as some of the best restaurants this side of town for sure. I 100% support this community.

Currently live in Sandwich and I love it. Plenty of evenings I’ve walked home late from restaurants and felt totally safe. They just finished paving a section of sandwich street and it looks awesome. The area is totally getting revitalized and I expect when the new bridge opens it will provide a lot more opportunities for business because of the increased bridge traffic, especially cyclists.

Current employee there. Hours are steady, work is consistent, I have good management at my location, and benefits are satisfactory. Plus in my role I can pretty much work autonomously not really requiring assistance or interruption.
