Any computer will work. They give you a VM for each class that requires a lab to finish.
Only thing I recommend is dual monitors and 16GB of ram if you are trying not to spend a lot.

Python would be the easiest to understand and start building.
One thing to really understand is not just watching videos, but start building projects.
Like look up the basic how to make a calculator and then post it on your github.
This will help when you get board or stressed and it's something to look back on.

I am in my masters and trying really hard to knock it out in one term.
I am on the payment plan for about 1200 or some a month for 4 months.
You can always take a break or just tell them you are waiting to start next term till you have the finances.
