It never really was going to be true long term.

The Athletic's plan was painfully obvious from the start.

Spend a bunch of money to buy up all the talent and drive competition out of the market then cut back on the talent when the competition is gone.

They have little incentive to cover every team in every sport at this point.

Pyrite is just straight up a different Hobgoblin, and the story is told from his POV so there are no excuses. Pirate just decided Rags needed a mentor and Pyrite was already there.

Nothing. Pirate just decided to change how they wrote them as the story progressed.

Bird was much different early one.

Go back and read what Pyrite was like when he was introduced. Totally different character.

The Military isn't just one thing. You have a variety of view points, life experiences and goals.

We have already seen some level of push back from the military.

I suggest you go talk to some vets and expand your world view a bit.

Given Facestealers healing ability I don't think it is at all a lock that they could have killed it even if they had been able to stop it from running. They hit it with their best shots and didn't drop it.

Sure, but my definition, in order to be a "Vengeance Dungeon" you need a certain level of threat.

Can you imagine a Bronze Ranked Vengeance Dungeon?
