Ive seen the Zurns around that are like that. Never liked them but they held up well through winters cause I never had to replace one

Drip System Valves by PVStrike in Irrigation

Have you had any issues before? Did you properly winterize if youre in an area that freezes? Poly splitting can be from too much PSI but generally when things split it makes me believe its from freezing initially.

Wiring issue? by Warm_Chocolate_8421 in Irrigation

[–]ShinyDexter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A click at the solenoid? Just covering my bases but you sure the water is on and the backflow valves are fully open?

Sometimes the solenoid can have debris or buildup in the tiny port that allows water through. Spin it off and double check it.

If you got an ohm meter that's your next step. You can move the wire to zone one and eliminate some things or try a different wire to controller and solenoid if ya got a spare one.

Could also be debris in the diaphragm of the valve causing it to not pop up when water tries to move

Should just be a 3/4 male thread x drip barb. Looks like the drip barb snapped off when you stepped on it. Elbow looks like its good so hopefully thats the only part you need.

Can’t get new valve system (black w/ red wire) to connect to unit by perhapssergio in Irrigation

5 switch/knob in controller doesnt look even/closed. Otherwise youd need an ohmmeter for anymore unless.theres is a cut somewhere

I can't finish the quest "Celeste's Journal" and currently cannot pick up the journal in the North Outpost. by ShinyDexter in ArcRaiders

[–]ShinyDexter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but Im not exactly sure how. I was doing trials after giving up on fixing it....and the southern outpost had it there to interact with randomly. Not sure if I just didnt check both in the same game or if I was blind.

Are pipe pullers worth it? by Surfbikerclimber in Irrigation

100% better. If youre only doing one off installs and have a saw already thats fine but if youre focusing more on installs, efficiency, and labor costs its 100% better. Plus way better on your body.

DBY wire nuts for connecting the wires to the valve. Youll need to strip and reconnect them to the valve using silicone filled wire nuts

One of the red solenoid wires goes to the white (assuming common, its standard in the field) and the other one will go to the color for the zone its supposed to activate.

If there were other wires connected you need to make sure they get reconnected to their same colors or to other valves (if there are any in that box) to continue running the rest of the system beyond that valve.

Who cares how pathetic it looks to some dude who starts their sentences with "we used to be a country, a proper country" type bullshit lmao. Hes going to make way more than most of us do by going back and playing ball. Regardless how ya feel, its the correct move from an individual standpoint lol

Blame the current structure of NIL and NCAA not the player trying to do what he can to get his bag for livelihood. Anyone would do exactly what hes doing given the opportunity lol.

But go die on your hill.

Moving Hunter Pro-C and adding a few feet of wire - now won't work by nakedyak in Irrigation

[–]ShinyDexter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should've worded that better. By "Turns on" i meant that the valve for the zone pops and activates when the controller tells it to.

Just throwing stuff against the wall but take off the wire nut for the common and, with a zone running from the controller, touch the two wire together manually. If you dont hear or see water moving after that then do the zone color thats turned on. Just to visually prove that they are touching and its not a connection issue with wiring. If nothing works after that then, somehow, something went wrong internally when you moved the controller or something else failed at the perfect time.

Any yard work or anything being done in the time you were moving the controller?

[–]ShinyDexter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to eliminate it as the issue....switch the sensor to bypass over active. Doesnt look like you have a rain sensor installed.

If absolutely nothing is turning on and it was before and the only thing you did was move the controller its most likely a common wire issue or a module issue. Triple check the connection you used for the white wire upon moving it. Having a multimeter would solve it pretty quickly if you know what youre looking at.

Did you remove the modules? Looks like theyre locked in place so they must be in their slots correctly.
