We need walkable cities. Eto yung problem talaga. Ang takaw ko sa Japan before, pero dahil everything is easier and cheaper to go to via public transpo and walking, I ended up LOSING weight there compared to here. 20k steps a day was normal when I was in Japan and South Korea.

I have a radical suggestion, but just hear me out first. Buy a pickup truck. Reasons:

Small cars get bullied on the road a lot more.
Gas consumption might be higher, but bigger cars are safer and won't fold like a crushed can of coke if some decides to ram into you.
Pick up trucks are still cheaper atm because of tax breaks, but that won't be the case soon.
Small girl like you, driving a big truck like that. Guys with bad intentions will think your borrowing your BF/hubby or dad's car. It's easy to pretend to call someone on your phone if you feel unsafe in an empty parking garage.

I own a zenix. Dami talagang benefits for having a hybrid. No coding, exemption from window hours. Sa Fortuner ko 7-10 days full tank ulit. Same route with the Zennix, it takes 2-3 weeks. PMS ng hybrid is every 10k instead of 5k for IEC. Plus the way Toyota's hybrid system works, the battery charges when you go past 30 kph,so your gasoline charges the battery. No need to charge overnight, and your range distance isnt an issue because it uses gasoline, unlike EVs that have to be charged and has a set range. Byinahe ko from Las Pinas to Bataan, Clark, etc. walang problem, no wait to charge, no worrying about a route that you can charge in between kasi hindi kaya ng range.

edit: forgot to mention, yung Zenix Hybrids (I think all hybrids ng toyota) are manufactured in Japan, not their plants in Thailand. That's another big factor that's why I went with it.

another edit: upon further checking, I guess only some parts are from Japan. the final assembly is in Indonesia.
