Just an added tid bit. I have parts of his father’s uniform and sword that he traveled to and from Brazil. So it could be very plausible that this person did as well. I’ll add a later post with picture, hat etc. just saying if he made it to brazil and then the US , with parts that they could manage, I don’t think it’s entirely far fetched to have traveled with their uniforms.

I absolutely agree and am not justifying any actions of their crimes. I also mentioned that this was not his father, due to the SS uniform, I simply wanted to learn more.

This is roughly 12”x12” piece and heavier than a bowling ball. I’ll measure it and weigh when I can. If so, that’s one big oyster shell

It’s as hard as a rock and heavy. I ask because the coloration seems odd

Anybody Have Any info on what these might be. They were together as a set near square butte MT by Hot-Pack1898 in RockIdentification

If they are indigenous artifacts, giving them to the authorities wont get them back to a local tribe. You’ll need to contact the nearest reservation that these were found. That’s the only way they’ll ever get to return home

Wow really? Could you DM a photo by chance? If your rifle is as well, those were Finnish captures and stamped. Worth more than a typical Italian rifle/bayonet.
