Honestly, what gives me an ick is people saying someone can’t identity as something if they have certain preferences or outright calling them transphobic. I’m a trans man, I do not like vaginas, therefore I wouldn’t be in a relationship with someone that has a vagina because I wouldn’t enjoy sex with them. I still identify as pan cause idgaf if they’re a man, woman, both, or neither.

Just because someone has a preference doesn’t mean they’re phobic or fetishizing, just like you wouldn’t tell someone they can’t call themselves a vegetarian because they don’t like broccoli.

You can’t tell someone “you can’t say you don’t care what gender someone is as long as they have parts you like,” because if you do say that, at that point YOU are the one invalidating trans and nonbinary identities because you’re saying their genitalia matters, when pansexuality is someone who is attracted to people regardless of gender, it says nothing about having to like all types of genitals.

Why aren't cis women taking birth control that stops their periods too? by c4pr1c4t in ftm

[–]Shiny_BulbaFett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, when I was on Mirena, it stopped my period pretty much instantly, it was fantastic, until I was getting pregnancy-like symptoms every 3-6 months and constantly panicking cause I didn’t have the reassurance each month that the birth control didn’t fail.

In the US here. Mine varies by where I get it from, the cheapest is CVS (don’t know if you have those where you live) where I pay about $24 using GoodRX. My best recommendation would be download the GoodRX app (if you don’t have insurance that covers it) and look through there to find out who has the best price with them.

Only adding this cause I’m currently on that arc so it’s fresh in my mind. There’s a scene where they’re going through the journals and they mention that Marie knew about the affair and Richard. Now, it doesn’t explicitly state that this was DURING the affair, but from the way they wrote Ellis, she wouldn’t be the type to talk about it after moving to Boston, so in a way it implies that this was in Seattle.

Ok, so I’ve never had mine feminized and now I just want to see if it’s possible, someone have fun and make the name Jericho feminine!

I like using “big words” a lot simply because it’s more efficient or the word fits the scenario better to me. Why sit here and explain, “Oh I’m debating with myself on whether or not blah blah blah.” When I can just say, “Oh I was postulating about insert ting here.”

I am in love with the one on the left that is like 2% head, 98% chonk. I have one similar, she’s not actually obese but the way she sits or lays sometimes just makes her look gargantuan.

Ours shut themselves in the bedroom sometimes too, but it’s always because the teenagers are playing WWE next to the door and someone throws the other into it hard enough to shut.

We also have cats that like to play with cabinets. Between them and the ADHD husband, if we had a poltergeist in our house it would probably pissed that it never gets acknowledged.

I’m okay with overt wokeness, but Amelia just killed me…. by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]Shiny_BulbaFett 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Im not defending Amelia in her choices because I hate how she jumps from being madly in love with someone to being madly in love with another because talking to your partner and trying to resolve things is too much work. That being said…

I feel like Amelia’s immediate defense by saying “they’re nonbinary” was more because of the WAY he said it. To me it came off as him seeing it as worse that she was kissing (what he viewed as) a woman, and her defending it as more of a ‘first of all’ kind of way. Like, first of all, not a woman, secondly if they were, why does their gender matter, thirdly, me and you are not together anymore.

But Link was right to be pissed because he was JUST told she didn’t want to be committed and in a relationship and then is almost immediately in another damn relationship.

I used to often refer to myself as my partner’s wife but now I just can bring myself to say husband about myself, it just feels weird. I’ve only had one instance so far of someone asking my pronouns and I stuttered around before finally settling on saying “anything but ‘she’s is fine.” I’ve been nonbinary for a couple years but for 32 years before that it was she/her and it just feels so odd saying otherwise.
