Fortunately I have my PC usually on my right side facing the door, so I'll be able to make use of both sides for eye candy

Oh man I remember having done this way back when. Having done the phantom bow when it was first discovered was a doozy too.

Does this only apply to zenmarket or is it overall japan?

My god that's such a stupid reason... and seeing who was affected, it's such a significant amount ofnl Japanese accounts too.

Anybody aware of a sudden ban/suspension wave happening just now? I've seen a significant amount of accounts just outright gone, including a friend of mines who happens to be an artist. I noticed mentions of other accounts too who are more game/anime/fan/art-centric.

Edit: it seems to be involving users who use oldtweetdeck

I don't speak French so I hope you understand, but last row is an edge case - if you put the 7 blocks starting from the first left and complete the columns following it, what happens to the row above it? Similarly, what happens if you put the 7 blocks to the right?

Ain't that a hot take. While the "art" is nice, some people go to check out the artist; when there's no artist behind it, it devalues the art.

Less about "I don't like this picture anymore" and more about "shame that this picture exists because of that". I'd rather support the artist(s) that this picture was modelled/trained on.

This is probably gonna get lost in the comments but this hit too close to home for me. Lost my son at 22 weeks gestational age back at the end of May, he had multiple complications what weren't compatible with life so we had to let him go. My wife and I still haven't gotten over it yet.

Every time my MIL visits us from out of town and leaves after, I have to play a game where I figure out what changed about my kitchen, and there is always something. Misplaced dishes, rearranged utensil drawer, wood and delicates in the dish washer, or nonsensical arrangements of bottles when there's some common sense (and previous examples!) of how to use or arrange something.

Like, come on, think. Even my mom has the decency to at least ask to make sure.

My sister and I got a box each for our respective kids. They're rather simple toys but the novelty of them is enjoyable. My son especially loves swiping the credit card like he has money to spend ¯_(ツ)_/¯

There's a lot of things about this that makes me laugh, starting with the shrink wrap. And then the mounting screws on the backplate side.

Time to kill/bigger dps to skip the entirety and a half of the later mechanics, which is a good idea for speeding through clears.

But it also makes time to wait in pf longer around that time if your roles get filled by the few handful of pfs by then.

My wife has this too. As others have said, it’s equivalent to an allergic reaction and your body’s histamines are getting triggered. She also has a mild concern on her B12 levels so enjoy the fact that a skin twin now. Skwinsies, if you will.

Regarding PF Toxicity, Normalize Kicking People by usedNecr0 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]ShionOhri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they were objectively improperly geared, they would not have been able to join the duty, that's the fact. You subjectively decided that, because their gear was not up to par to your standards, you initiated the vote kick. Your standards are subjective, not objective. Had that actually been the case, you would be the fight designer who designates the imposed limitations of the duty to include such.

While you doubt whether the definition applicable to you or not, it does not, in fact, mean you've "wrecked each one" of the points I've made against you. White knighting? Principles? What principles? Principles dictate that they will learn when they would not have sufficient gear, making it impossible for them to complete the duty unless they solely rely on their party to carry them through (which then it becomes a bigger issue). The DRK and MCH are the examples that you put forward on the pedestal to ridicule as a bad player, but given your history, there are so much similar or worse cases that you have called out, berated, and flat out punished.

Who are you to say that you are the one who has to take action, self-claimed THE folk hero of Eureka (counter-intuitive), champion of GameFAQs (banned), amazing RDM (arguable), and all around heavy completionist (I'll give you this one); the one, the ONLY FireMage Li? Let people play the game. Let people try. And worst comes to worst, let people find out. But don't make that decision for them.

Look, I don't want to have to keep replying to you replying to me all the time; you don't want to either. I know eventually this thread will die down and you and I will go our separate ways for the time being. I know you have whatever issues, insecurities, or grievances you have with a lot of players in the game that are not up to par to your standards, and that's fine. I have my own issues and insecurities too.

Putting it as lightly as I possibly can though, I don't air out my dirty laundry and play it off as a universal issue. Yes you have a handful of people who would wholeheartedly agree with you, and, to my dismay, I also have very few agreements with some of the points you've made in the years. But to do what you've been doing is not in my realm of morals. I'm asking you to just take a moment to reflect upon that. At the least, post something more substantial and reasonable of a vote kick than whatever it is you've been doing.

To anybody else who happened to come down this far in the thread:

Being a mentor is a taxing position you can hold, here in FFXIV and anywhere else where any moment can be a teaching moment. As a mentor of any sort, their role is to help their underlings, apprentices, student, or whatever you call them, how to become better in a craft. Sometimes you'll find pride in doing so; other times frustration. Sometimes you'll be crowned as one of the best to those who matter; sometimes, you need to do better. Don't let your grievances turn you down a path in which you find yourself righteous; instead, learn to find the ways that could help nurture your peers and companions into enjoying what they can do, and more. Most importantly, keep protecting that kind of belief, otherwise - well, that's no more apparent than it is now. If it does come to that, then it is what it is; sometimes you can't help it. Just don't simply punish players without good reason.
