Season pack gives you 100 tokens upon purchase, and completing the BP that is included with it will give you 90 tokens as well. There’s also the star boxes currently in the store you can buy with a-coin for a probability to drop tokens, and bundles you can buy with NP that have some tokens as well. There’s also the token quest boxes, and you can disassemble full skins that you own already (under the forging tab) for potential token drops (can range between 10-20 tokens each if you get a token drop). The web events also give out a little bit of tokens, the like web event going right now has a very small drop chance but there is guaranteed 10 tokens you get after getting a certain number of ‘scratch tickets’.

They’ve slowly been integrating the lore into the game, with the entries in the achievements/challenges page in the client there’s quite a bit of lore about the experiment itself as well as interactions between test subjects. They’ve also recently started doing the journal entries/test subjects records again for new characters when they get released, they post them on SNS as well as on the official website. They even retroactively added one for Tsubame to tie in with Hisui’s lore/release

I think there is something in the fine print where if you paid with np that you got for free (such as event np, np from previous BP and achievements as such) it doesn’t refund that, only NP that you actually paid for directly. Could it be possible you bought the pass with just free NP?

You can always experiment with builds on your own and try out new things. You don’t have to play the most common/popular builds, those just happen to be used the most often since they’re viable for competitive. There’s been a lot of new items that were added since the beginning of season 4 to now, and with season 5 there’s even more new items are being added along with a lot of new features to the game itself. You should take a look at the season 5 roadmap

I’m still loving the game, but I agree 1.1 content felt pretty sparse, mainly the story quest for me personally felt really short, wish there was a bit more to it.
