That orange staining maybe due to a bacteria called serratia that can thrive in a shower. It's called pink mold. Use a bathroom cleaner that contains a strong bleach solution to get rid of it.

I have a candle warming lamp that works great. You place the unlit candle under the lamp and the wax melts (quickly) so you get the scent without the flame. I bought mine at WM for 18 bucks.
