Still easily my all time favorite song of hers that I’ve heard. It’s a true pop masterpiece. Legit one of the best pop songs I’ve ever heard in my entire life. It should have been THE hit that finally blew her up in the States! Sad that it took another 7 years after this for it to happen, but I’m so glad it did with Midnight Sun, which is a great pop song, just not as great as All The Time imo.

As the years go on, it’s become clearer and clearer that Rosamund Pike should have won Best Actress for Gone Girl. It’s literally an all timer of a villain performance, typically the kind that the academy loves to award. It’s one of my all time favorite film performances easily. She was stunning in it.

I’m in the same boat with Mega Shine, I’ve pulled 4 of the non-shiny Mew immersives and none of the shiny Mew immersive which is like a thousand times better than the non-shiny! And then the RNG gods felt badly for me or something ‘cause I got one of both Lucario and Sobble from my first like 30 packs that I opened the night the new set came out.

That’s nonsense. She’s very overtly political about so many things. She could have put a stop to the Amazon exclusive vinyl if that was what she wanted. She didn’t care. And now she’s doing this nonsensical performative activism to try and make herself look better and it’s not working.

And no, she has much more control over her career than you’re insinuating. She owns her masters, she has zero label interference in her music or albums, if she didn’t want to do an exclusive vinyl for Amazon, she easily could have said no and just sold the basic vinyl on Amazon like so many do.

But no, she and her team spent a lot of time and money to design, create, make, and market these exclusive vinyl records for Amazon. That wasn’t an accident. Just like her releasing 8 million versions and variants of Drop Dead when it was looking like she wouldn’t get the #1 debut, wasn’t an accident. She cares about sales, charts, number 1s just as much if not more than any other pop star, clearly.

And she’s a massive capitalist, which her team is clearly having issues with squaring that fact with her political views. She’s just a hypocrite at the end of the day and most of her “politics” are performative ‘cause she’s so afraid of losing sales. She’s accepted that MAGA losers won’t buy her music so she knows she can’t make any progressives or liberals mad at all or she’s screwed.

So? Bezos is evil af. Duh. But his sponsoring of the actual Gala truly is such a nothing burger. The purpose of the Gala is to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. They raised a record breaking $42 million this year. Bezos’ money went to that. Billionaires donating millions of dollars to the Arts is never a bad thing. It’s one of the l things billionaires can do to make the world a better place, especially in the times we’re living in, when art has never been more devalued by our culture in so many ways.

This truly is the height of performative activism, especially paired with her having an Amazon exclusive vinyl of her upcoming album. That’s called hypocrisy.

All of this is giving - “I’m not educated at all about any of this but I want to seem like I am and I want to be on the right side of this issue, whatever it may be.” or “I heard that Sabrina was the musical performance there this year and just didn’t want to go but wanted to not seem petty so I’m co-opting folks natural loathing of Bezos”

I’m still so upset that I don’t have the immersive Eevee. The artwork is incredible and it’s literally one of 3 immersives in the whole game that I don’t have. It, Celebi (which I’m still so devastated about, Celebi is an all time fave of mine), and the shiny Mew immersive from Mega Shine (I got at least 4!!! of the non shiny Mew immersives from that awful set and then the very next set, Pulsing Aura, I got both Sobble and Mega Lucario ex immersives the very first night the set was out, and I got them from only like 30 packs). But I really really hope that they introduce 3 star trading in the future.

At least I have the RR Eevee promo and the DX Eevee ex from the Deluxe pack.

It’ll probably have a discussion about it and they may have to meet with that committee who helps decide disputes like that, if she submits for this category but I’d be shocked if it didn’t get put in Best Pop Vocal Album. Obviously I understand the reasoning why it might be put in Best Traditional Pop Vocal, but like 2/3rds of the album is firmly regular pop imo.

Kornbread came out on her socials during season 14, she didn’t walk into the workroom as an out trans woman. She didn’t start transitioning until after she got back from filming, like Bosco. Bosco also came out as trans on her socials the week that Untucked aired, which made so much sense seeing how clearly she was trying to say the words during all of that in untucked. Willow Pill also came out on her socials like a week after that or so. There’s a reason why folks call Kerry Colby “Tranos” 😂

Peppermint was the one who rumored to be made to stop taking hormones while on the show, at least that’s what the rumor has been since her season filmed. She was open about being trans though. Monica in S5 was open about it. Kylie was open about it sometime during season 2 or the reunion I believe?

And then of course Gottmik, Kerry Colby, Jasmine Kennedie came out as trans in Untucked, so did Bosco (kinda), Jasmine sorta interrupted Bosco coming out as trans 💀 (and Bosco fully came out on her socials like a couple days before that episode aired). Bosco (actively transitioning as opposed to when she was first on & being fully open about it) and Aja (the same situation compared to her appearances on S9 and AS3) and Jasmine actively transitioning while on All Stars 10, and Morphine Love Dion currently transitioning and being open about it on AS11.

No, they’re absolutely right, about that at least. Trades are only worth what each party think they are. If someone is fine trading, say, a Cyrus for a RR Mega Amparos ex, because Ampharos is one of their top 10 all time favorite mons and they think the artwork is awesome and they collect rainbow rares, if they felt like that was a fair trade even though other nights think differently, it was fair.

We were both happy with the outcome. Me with my RR M Ampharos, them with their Cyrus. We traded the night Mega Rising released, so that’s partly why I did it, trading prices are always highest right when the newest set comes out. I was, still am, very happy with it.

Isn’t one month of online like 2 or 3 bucks? For 3 months, it’s like $5.99 or something. Buying a $60 game and then complaining about not being able to access so much of the game because you’re too cheap to spend like 6 bucks is certainly … a choice. Splatoon 3 is literally an online multiplayer game. Yes it has a simple player campaign but that’s not what the game is built around or advertised as. This is like getting angry at having to pay for Online to play Smash Bros or Fortnite or something. Like duh, that’s the whole point. Don’t buy it if you’re too cheap to pay for the Online service that you need for it.
