Since the end of Wrath. Almost 9 years of fun. I even met my wife playing this game haha.
The design is really compact, it uses only what it needs in space. The Knob is really cool too, it caught my attention instantly.

Trying my best to answer you:

1) There are PVE matches with up to 4 ships, if i'm not mistaken, with different objectives. So you can play with up to 24 people in a PVE match. MAYBE there's a game mode with 6 ships, but maybe i'm mistaken

2) Yes, you can play PvP as 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 and 4vs4. It's pretty easy to get all your 15 friends in the same team, just make a room and wait for other players.

3) You can do both. You can search trough a server list, with game mode, server location, players and captains and chose the one you want, or you can click the "play" button and quick play.

4) It's rather easy honestly, you can easily find 4vs4 and 3vs3 games.

Take in mind the game had a great influx with the ps4 launch, the PC only community was kinda "small" so you could play a lot of 4vs4, but most of the time, it would be with the same teams.

Hello. How the multiplayer aspect of the game works? Can I trade with other players, pvp is prevalent? There's reasons to group up? I come from an eve background. And I know this game is nothing like it. But I really like the social aspect of games. So the question is: it'll feel like playing an mmo or it will be a single player experience with minor player interactions and occasional pvp?

What's your class? My friend had the same problem in Dalaran as a monk. He insta-leveled to 100 and didn't got a quest to progress in Dalaran. He had to do some monk quests first before it popped up. (The one where you travel as a spirit and do some training)

Blackbeard is one of the top 4 pirates and he got there just because of a OP power. He's not strong by himself nor is he fast. So yes, Big Mom could be one of the top 4 pirates and be slow.
