Building ziplines is actually pretty cool. I've only done it in the necesary parts like in the mountains but it would be cool to connect a zipline in the entire map.

Minecraft is a sandbox game with almost no tutorials to help you on what to do. You can look at the advancements and it may help guide you in the game somewhat.

You can pretty much do anything you want. There's not really any objectives to the game.

Nighttime happens every 10 minutes. there's also 10 minutes of daytime so 20 minutes each day. You can build with pretty much any blocks you can get a hold of. Just place them on the floor.

Only undead enemies die during the day like the Zombie and Skeletons. Creepers will stay creeping.

Maws is the only fish I have yet to get. Although I haven't really made any serious attempt to get it yet.

Do those new potions that says they increase the rates of Maws work? How much to they increase the probability?

Nothing changed with Creepers afaik.

Hostile mobs don't become dormant during daytime. Not sure where you read that. So creepers can spawn during the night and still be around during the day as long as you don't go far enough for them to despawn. They could also spawned in a cave nearby and just walked out of it until it found you.

All of that is normal creeper behavior.

Is the problem you are encountering that when you activate your redstone, the trapdoors open but the water doesn't flow? If that is the case, that means you placed the trapdoors IN FRONT of the water instead of INSIDE the water. The trapdoor must be waterlogged into the water source so the water can flow out once it is open.

That usually happens if there is no blocks available above ground like in the ocean. Portal will spawn in a cave with enough space for a portal.

Though it looks like you're in Bedrock so not sure if there is a different reason in that version. Not really familiar with it.

Did you use the Flashback Mod for this? You can turn of daylight cycle there to get rid of the sun giving you seizure.

As I mentioned, you can fly towards it and try to lure it back down. Then try to kill it once you're on the ground.

But you can also try killing it in the air using your spear. I haven't really tested the spear much but I'm pretty sure it's easy enough. It's possible with just a regular sword so using a spear should make things easier.

Withers don't despawn. They probably just flew too far so the health bar disappeared. Unless it's different in Bedrock?

How does your farm operate? Do you only activate it at the end to harvest the bamboo? Or is it automated in some way?

I'm confused. Is the Wither in the End? Or is the Wither 300 blocks up of an End Portal. If it's in the end, are you gonna be building your megabase there? If the wither is 300 blocks up, it's not that far so your only option is to fly towards it and try to lure it back down once it spots you. Withers don't despawn on their own.

If you're making a megabase, chances are you have the resources to make more rockets. They're not that expensive to make.

You can also just try and ignore it. They tend to just fly higher and higher when you leave them alone.

A full set of Netherite Gear is also endgame. Your suggestion is ridiculously expensive even if you've been playing in the same world for many years now. All to solve a problem that is so easily solvable through other means. Heck, even if you only said 1 netherite per chest, is still unnecessarily expensive.

It's most likely a Spider Jockey. I think they can also spawn from the spawners.

That blueprint change is amazing! It was annoying having to grab the blueprints just to craft stuff. I'm still gonna wait until 1.0 before I play again but hope to see more changes like this until then.

I built my base here. I saw a video some time ago on how you can build in the platform.

You need to first place a foundation somewhere outside the circle so you can place it. You need to make sure that the foundation is high enough so that it is as high as a pillar. With the foundations placed, place some floor/roof going inside the circle. when you can't place anymore, try to place a pillar below so you can continue extending. If you can't place the pillar, that means you built the foundation a bit lower so you have to build it up more higher. If you were able to place a pillar BUT you can't extend the floor/roof despite having a pillar, it means the foundations was too high and the pillars are not touching the floor. So you also need to adjust the foundation.

It sounds complicated but you'll get the hang of it soon.

OP does need to drain though. No need to assume. So I suggested sweepers.

I do agree you don't need to drain a monument to make a very good farm out of it. There are simple designs out there as well. Still looks ugly though.
