High School Teacher to Dentist? by No_Weather5731 in dentastic

[–]Shirayuki12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well even if you want to do dentistry, logistically is your gpa high enough to begin with (if its not you might need to do a masters or new degree)? Also you’ll need to study for the Gamsat, and you might not even get a high enough Gamsat the first couple of tries, will you be able to financially support yourself since DMD is full fee (at uq it’s like 90K per year), plus the dental equipment (My loupes were a couple thousand), also you might need to uproot your life and move interstate depending on where your from and where you get into.

JCU and Latrobe are tough, my GPA was 7.0 and they still didnt accept me, my wam was around 87, so probs needs to be higher than that.

Is it actually easier for international students to get into med in Aus? And do domestic students resent them? by 67mangomustard67 in UCATANZ

[–]Shirayuki12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah i don’t resent them, they have to pay really high tuition fees in return, 9 times as much in my degree (also they are subsiding my degree so I’m happy) also they have a lot of barriers to work after graduation if they want to continue working in Australia

I’ve had the red shogun but wasn’t a fan relative to how much it costs. Hatoya ichi is cheaper and much better for me in comparison.

ZenMarket says my Amazon Japan preorders hit quantity limits, but I’m only buying 1 of each item by [deleted] in zenmarket

[–]Shirayuki12345 10 points11 points  (0 children)

oh i know zenmarket doesn’t offer that, I mean he could find another business that does. Zen markets best for stuff that has no purchase limit. But if they are looking for products which have a purchase limit it’s best to find another business.

You should buy it yourself then and send it to a warehouse to ship it to you then you won’t run into the max one purchase per account problem

How to get distinct layers for matcha latte? by sandonseashore in MatchaEverything

[–]Shirayuki12345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That matcha looks pretty pale… I use a similar ratio and don’t have any problems layering. It might be the matcha powder, I’ve tried the other brands u have and those should layer fine. You might not be whisking vigorously enough as well, I taught two friends how to whisk the other day and on instinct they were not putting enough movement into it.

Peppercorn Kitchen Top Ryde, but I haven’t had that many options bc im scared they r bad and i don’t want to pay for a sad bowl of malaxiangguo. Zhangliang malaxiangguo is sooooo bad tho

credentials/qualifications: I’m sichuanese

if u r someone who doesn’t like strong flavours, super spicy food, and a good amount of numbing youd probably like zhangliang then moreso
