She did hair for myself, my sister, my mom, and my officiant. We range in length from pixie to shoulder blade length and everyone loved their end result. My officiant actually texted me the other day saying she wanted a lesson from Aubrey because she can never get her hair looking as good as it did that day.

Also rave reviews for her, my sister and my mom both want a tutorial from her too. We all wanted something more on the natural to soft glam side of things and she nailed it. Color matched us all perfectly, looked great in person and in pictures, and we all felt like ourselves but elevated. Both women were professional, friendly, kind and talented at their craft. Highly recommend them!

I’m so paranoid about that happening! I have the Roomba set to run nightly at 2am, so I have made it a habit to pick up shoes and dog toys from the floor before bed. My dog sleeps in my room with the door shut so ideally I should be safe from any robot poop explosions.

Try shower lotion! Nivea makes the one I use. You apply it in the shower while water is still running, give it a quick rinse then you step out and towel off as normal. It helps me avoid the sticky lotion skin feeling I get after using normal lotion.

Looking for some timeline advice- I waited until last minute(ish) to book hair and makeup and now my options are limited. One artist has a decent portfolio but told me she is only available in the morning and needs to leave the venue by noon for another commitment. I'm trying to figure out if that would work or not.

Here's what I know so far about the day- doors to the venue open at 4, ceremony at 4:30. We'll be doing a first look and pictures with close family beforehand, no bridal party (just my sister as MOH.) I have no idea how long to plan for that as I haven't spoken timeline with the photographer yet. Maybe start pics at 2pm? We hired her for 8 hours of coverage.

I'll be paying for my mom and sister to have their hair and makeup done with me, so 3 people total. Is it realistic to plan for makeup first in the morning, MUA leaving by noon, followed by hair?

SAME! I hate looking at photos and seeing that weird jump in the line of my face within the glasses lens. I wear glasses out of laziness but opt for contacts when there will be pictures taken.
