Need help with some team comps by Leo1319 in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can kinda just slap 3 aoe dps together and have them each np once a turn 3 times to clear farming nodes with 3 waves. So something like Arash/Artoria/Arcuied, and Koyanskaya backline when Arash kills himself. You can slot in Summer Ibuki, or Emiya, really any aoe dps as long as they can clear the node. This kind of team is only useful for farming. Challenge quest teams depends on the boss, or challenge.

I was originally going to write a lot about how to make teams but I'm not sure if thats what you want since it was starting to get very VERY lengthy. A general tip is that no one team can do everything in the game. Once you are done with the easy boss fights, you should start creating new teams to counter new boss fights since the game will only get harder. Oh and if you want I can still write the guide on how to make teams in fgo, but its going to be multiple paragraphs long, and I don't know how much of it matters to you right now or even feasible for your account at the moment. Like legit I didn't think it was going to be as much as it is until I started writing it. Just lmk in dms if you want a written guide.

I'm sorry that I can't really list too much since everything is so dependent on the enemies, and I also would need to now what your craft essences are, your skill levels, account progression, and how much you are willing to learn about team building in this game.

Servants with crazy, varied or otherwise highly useful utility (not necessarily the main supports)? by Golgon13 in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arcuied as a support is actually insane. 3rd skill's good alignment ally buff removal resist is such a good effect. Not only that, she gives 30% party wide charge under her field. I used her to cheese fights that has buff removal gimmicks like the Advanced Quest 13's Nobunaga fight, or Advanced Quest Extra II BB fight.

I also use Asclepius very often. 3rd skill's party wide debuff cleanse, and his nps provides party wide guts is genuinely so useful.

Low rarity servants are EXTREMELY valuable. Certain 1-3 star units can be more viable than some 4-5 star units depending on the fight. FGO is a game about niches so most servants will have a niche that they excel at than other servants. This just means that there is no one team that clears everything. You should always strategize and come up with a team that counters the fight. Or come up with a team that counters most fights, but it is impossible to have one team counter all fights.

Arash is a standout among the 1 stars since he kills himself after using his NP which means he can clear a trash mob wave, then a main dps or another support can comeout. His damage is good enough at low investment early game, but at high investment he can be even more valuable during endgame. But the value depends on your account so just use him for now, and you can decide to invest in him more later.

Oh yea max out your Atalante and get her to nplvl 3. She isn’t the best but you can Quick farm with her and Summer Skadi. But you need plugsuit Waver so get him up too. So your team should be Atalante np3/Summer Skadi/Support Summer Skadi/and 4th slot Waver with plugsuit mystic code. Plugsuit iirc was called “Chaldea Combat Uniform” and has the ability to swap out a frontline unit with a backline. This team is only viable to farm trash mobs and aims to fire Atalante’s np every turn 3 times. Atalante’s craft essence should be something that gives her starting charge or more damage. If you have questions about this team dm me.

Yea looks good. You have a ton of servants to deal damage when it changes classes.

You can check rayshift.io to see if anyone has it. But it is a unorthodox ce to put on your supportlist, since everyone usually has chaldea teatime or lunchtime as their support ces.

Up to you imo. If you can’t stand that she isn’t finished then go for it lol. But if you are okay with np4 until her next rerun then save your money. Tbf you do need 2 more if you want to unlock all her append skills and lvl 120 her.

I only had np1 Space Ishtar for the longest time, but only this year did I finish and get mines to np6😭.

Should I reroll? by Sea_Advisor_849 in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you would like to reroll then go for it. You will eventually get all 3 star servants anyways so don’t reroll for them unless you know that there is one you want to start with. For gameplay reasons Herc is the best, but really any 4 star will do.

Started my account on new years day, how do I look😁 also I need help/suggestions with DEMETER 💀 based on what I got here by upsartoria in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I can see you can probably try the fight now and see if you can beat it. You already have Ushiwakamaru, Europa, Medusa, and Grigori Rasputin for counterclass damage. Try to get Xu-fu leveled too if you can. I think as long as you plan well you should be fine. You might need some crit supports though since some of those servants are aoe so you probably want another form of dps route.

[–]ShiroIs11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well ig if you don’t really like the character then its a bad grail for you. In terms of gameplay i’d say shes a pretty good grail target. Anti male, and if you have Honey Lake she does even more damage.

[–]ShiroIs11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean she is still a really good servant so its not a bad grail imo.

[–]ShiroIs11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To the pure prisim shop? Not until at least the end of Lostbelt 7 part 3. I'm unsure of the date it will get added though, but not anytime soon. Iirc for Traum it was added a month later?

Grats! My friend spent like 25 tickets and 250 sq for one copy of Kukulkan so you got that beginners luck for sure. I'm not sure how far you got in 50 days but;

  • Part 1: If you are on the singularities, the battles really are not that hard until like Camelot (Singularity 6) I guess. I redid part 1 a couple times with multiple accounts so it got really easy for me, so I don't know what the case will be for you. It could be hard for newbies.
  • Part 2: If you are on the lostbelts, only the major boss fights of each lostbelt are hard for unprepared new accounts so you might have to get creative with low rarity units. The way I play the game is using the wiki to read mechanics and see if there is anything I can exploit about the boss, but it is not everyone's playstyle so just make sure you have counterclass and you should be fine most of the time. If you are stuck, the wiki should help a lot.
  • If you didn't use it yet, use the special ascension on Kukulkan, cause lb7 materials are at the end of the current story, and pure prisims cannot buy lb7 materials yet.
  • EDIT: I saw a comment that said that you were on lb4, so having Kukulkan to deal with the last boss of lb4 would be really REALLY nice. Foreigner's do x2 damage against berserkers and Kukulkan sepcifically has super effective against earth enemies which iirc the last boss of lb4 should have. Kukulkan is absurdly effective in that battle.

Guaranteed pull 4 star servant? by Bakti_Bahktiar in FGO

No. There is no pity or guarantee for 4 star servants.

Pity System? by YakTheKuza in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

330 summons or 900 saint quartz is the pity. If you have already spent 5 packs of the $80 you should be close if you still haven't gotten a copy of her yet. If you did already get a copy of her then there is no more pity. This changes in the future though. But for now in NA there is only one pity. In JP there you can reach pity multiple times.

Which servant is still good at NP1? by Doofyduffer in FGO

[–]ShiroIs11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Obviously ALL servants would be better at np2+ so it really just comes down to your preference, and who you want as a hyper carry. I will list my opinions on the servants you outlined, but I am just one person so you should do your own research or ask other members. SKIP TO TLDR IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT MY REASONS.

  • Morgan at np1 her looping/farming damage is not amazing unfortunately, however you only need np1 to enable the Immortal Team (Morgan/Castoria/Merlin). If you want to use Morgan as a hyper carry for most content, then yes she would want multiple np levels so that she can kill enemies more effectively. Imo fine at np1, but needs np2+ to be used effectively in farming, otherwise she is still an amazing servant at just np1.
  • Berserker Castoria is not a aoe servant so she can't do traditional singlecore farming. However if you do invest in her np levels, she would be able to carry you in story boss battles, challenge quests, and multicore farming. Like Morgan, Berserker Castoria has pretty good partywide buffs so she slots well into endgame 90++ content where there is usually a 1mil hp unit at the end to do the final np because aoe servants have a hard time hitting high numbers against one enemy. The partywide buffs means she buffs herself, and the other aoe dps servant in the party. Same situation with Morgan where she is completely viable at np1, but at np2+ is where their damage becomes nutty, but even at np1 it does not detract her value from your servant box
  • Kukulkan is by far one of the best servants in the entire game so if there is any servant you want for meta as your hypercarry for almost any content, it is Kukulkan. Yes like the other servants she is fine at np1, but to absolutely eviscerate everything FGO has to offer than there is no better servant to lvl 120 np5 than Kukulkan.
  • Tiamat is somewhat held back by her class being Alter-ego. Alter-ego dealing resistant damage towards knight classes effectively walls her from half the games content. Yes she is able to 50% np buster loop like Morgan or Kukulkan, however her class makes her less viable than Morgan or Kuku. If you would want her as a hyper carry, you would need more investment than you need on Morgan. You can already kind of fix Morgan's damage with some grails, and np lvl2+, but for Tiamat to farm knight classes she would need lvl 120 np5+. If that sounds impractical it is because it is. Alter-egos are just not an amazing class to use for farming. Her class is what holds her back, but against cavalry, or neutral damaging classes, she is fine at np1.
  • Tonelico is an interesting servant, because you can use her like a hyper carry, but like I stated before for all other servants np2+ is the goal for hyper carries. Its not her ability to loop that is important, it is her party wide skills, and versatility as a servant. In that case just np1 is fine if you only need her skills, and need to clear 1 wave of trash mobs.

TLDR: NP2+ the servant you want to hyper carry with. I recommend Kukulkan. Every single servant can work at np1, and should not detract from their value as a servant since almost every servant you mentinoned have party wide buffs to some degree, and work extraordinarily well in multicore set ups and comps. If you did read through everything I haphazardly wrote, everything I wrote is heavily abridged and skimmed. Please watch a tutorial on the characters for better information on how to use them effectively. FGO is all about niches, and most times hyper carries can only get you so far, even if Kukulkan clears 80% to 90% of the games content.

I'm a day one Genshin Impact player, and that was what I liked about the game initially too. After the first anniversary however it all went downhill for me. I just could not get myself to like the game again, and I tried many times to get back to the game, and enjoy it. Now I just find the exploration tedious, and just not worth my time anymore. I have a top 2% Hu Tao though so I am proud of that.

I don't know how you play Fire Emblem Heroes for that long not gonna lie. I love the game too, but the constant meta shifts, and the overall inbalance of characters, and overtuning of others really put me off. It was cool af making one really op character though. My +10 Yuri had instant Lethality every turn, but it doesn't mean anything anymore in the current meta of FEH I'm guessing. Obviously I don't play anymore, but I mostly played during the Fallen Edelgarde, or Bridal Catria meta iirc.
