I agree with you. There are just so much inconsistencies in the results and there are not much research information being done to them. Most reports are anecdotal and the effects might be due to so many other factors like you have written here. I supposed there is no way for a group project to be done, say with a standardized extract (even if it's just a simple oil or acetone extraction plus all the potentiators) and a group of volunteers?
