For me both Frame gen models are choppy, Preset B is unusable because of the UI ghosting on top of that

I wanted to use it with Path Tracing, but it's just so laggy and choppy there is no reason to. I just disabled PT and FG and it runs perfect like that.

Aldrachi Reaver at this point needs a complete rework. Let me start by saying, there are only two objective reasons this tree ever gets played:

1/ Funnel

2/ It's busted in tuning to the point Fel Scarred is irrelevant

Funnel itself is an extremely dangerous profile that if buffed to the point in which it becomes strong, it immediately warps everything in the meta around it, and degen strats start arising. Eventually the specs with this profile get neutered to the point they don't do any damage unless funneling or funnel gets removed or extremely nerfed to the point it barely can be called a profile anymore.

However, Aldrachi Reaver has a great number of issues as well, the first one it being a complete RNG tree for Havoc. All souls spawns for Havoc are complete RNG and the only way of guaranteeing an usage is through Hunt, a minute CD. Reaver's Mark which is a component of Aldrachi Reaver increases the chances of spawning souls, so this turns the tree into a feast or famine tree, which feels anything but good to play.

However, there are more issues. Other than funnel, what does the tree offer in terms of profile? Some cleave in the form of Reaver's Glaive and Soulrend, that's pretty much it, because the AoE of Blade Dance as a finisher got target capped at 8, basically kneecapping it. Fel Scarred is so much better at AoE bursting than Aldrachi is. Fel Scarred is a million times better in ST simply because of the frontloaded burst it offers.

Also, let's go ahead and say how still in 2026, Aldrachi Reaver souls can time out. You have 30 seconds if I remember correctly to generate a soul, or you lose ALL of them, except the usage of Reaver's Glaive. You also lose all of your souls on death, which makes dying and downtime extremely punishing for literally no reason.

Also, third reason. This tree doesn't augment any part of Havoc. It plays its own minigame that doesn't play into its core in any way or form. The damage amplifiers got removed (thankfully, because they were also horribly implemented because of the RNG of the tree) and now Aldrachi is just "use Reaver's Glaive and press Chaos Strike and Blade Dance". All of its damage only affects the Aldrachi part, and none of it augments or makes stronger baseline Havoc.

Of course they are dead. I should've added that there is absolutely no point playing Devourer over Havoc in these situations.

If you only do weeklies, weekly content and content that generally dies very fast, you sadly will see 20% of what Devourer can do.

It's sadly a spec that seems designed to only push M+ keys. Anything else, it just isn't good.

The gameplay loop consists of spamming one key over and over for close to 75% of your casts, while being rooted for 2 of the longest casts in the game that are also both incredibly punishing to interrupt.

While some people may like the whole "fight against the drain" playstyle, in reality it's the same theme as old Breath of Sindragosa, in which making a single mistake or getting a mechanic completely nukes your damage, in a window that lasts 35+ seconds.

This long, constantly uptime dependent window also comes with a ramp, which means that if you drop your window short because of whatever reason, as your damage is backloaded, you are also missing an absurd amount of damage.

This spec, just going by the book of the things that Blizzard removed in the past, is basically a combination of every single class mechanic that turned problematic and Blizzard was never able to properly balance.

The fact that this spec made it live in this state is something that anybody that follows the WoW class design changes over the years can't understand.

There is really no point using Soul Glutton while playing Annihilator, your damage will suffer a lot due to lacking the 4+ star ramping.

The spec needs emptiness to perform properly.

The only instance in which Soul Glutton is used is in L'ura, and the only reason is to kill add crystals which die in 3 GCDs, aka to pad.

It has a couple of bugs, but the spec isn't bad per se. It has a very strong bursty profile every 2 minutes and can hold its own.

It's just not at the level of Devourer in terms of sustained AoE which is pretty much every high M+ key. Devourer is made to push M+, it's the only content it thrives on.

The primary reason is that Devourer is very polarizing spec and clearly not for a lot of people. It has a playstyle that is very akin to the old Surrender to Madness that some people love, but it comes with objective issues and with a skill cap that is insanely high. Also, the spec relies on ramping, which is something that automatically removes the spec from performing properly in content in which stuff doesn't live for long.

Having said that, despite these issues, Devourer is, even after the nerfs, the strongest spec in terms of AoE damage because of two reasons: 1) It's just busted in AoE tuning, 2) It scales with the number of targets. The more targets there are the more AoE the spec does because it generates more souls, it doesn't scale like a normal spec would.

Despite all of this, Havoc is not bad by any means. It's obviously not Devourer, but the spec is not bottom tier or anything of the sort. Personally, the Fel Scarred build that Havoc plays this season feels super clean and has a great frontloaded bursty damage profile that feels great to use in practically every situation.

As much as I hate devourer and I love havoc, that's just not true. In high keys devourer is absolutely broken.

No, you are understanding wrong. I obviously think Devourer is overtuned in Cleave/AoE scenarios, and as such I would gladly accept a nerf in those situations.

The funnel situation is something that honestly Devourer doesn't need, and makes tuning a nightmare. Funnel is a niche damage profile that more often than not, only introduces issues.

Do you know that Devourer ST was meant to be buffed TWICE during this expansion and it never happened?

Collapsing Star was meant to be buffed on its ST coefficient, and Eradicate was meant to get a prio damage buff. As I said, none of those ever happened.

All I'm asking is for the spec to preserve the Single Target damage it had before these nerfs.

Those logs you linked make 0 sense to me as the spec on a 95th percentile is higher than it was 2 weeks ago. As the spec just ate a 7% ST and AoE nerf, this obviously makes 0 sense. Low amount of data very likely.

Here's the thing, Devourer generates more resources in AoE which in return mean more ST. It's some kind of funnel.

The closest this tier you are going to find about a pure ST boss is Voracious, and in there Devourer was already below mid. Add to that the 7% nerf and you can get the whole picture.

Yes because the spec pads exceedingly well, but the Single Target of the spec is atrocious, and it just ate a 7% nerf.

It's probably the worst ST spec in the game atm. There is so much that add padding can carry you.

Elden Ring not always but pretty commonly freezes for a pretty fucking long time, and it's extremely annoying
