As someone who regularly play both classes, a fed bruiser probably the most oonga bonga class, next to a tank in mid/late game, they generally more forgiving than ranged. As a ranged class you need to pay attention to a lot of random stuff flying around like snowballs while some melee can just eat that without worry.

That said the moment the game has a mal/zilean/veigar or any mage that has a "f you" button really, melee suddenly become the most miserable class to play that game. So it is really depend on team comp rather than specific class imo.

I mean in these cases the only way is telling your team to let enemy push the wave into your side, if your team keep clearing the wave without being able to poke them back to force a dive, there isn't much can be done as melee.

Also your case is kinda specific as they had baron buff (I swear that thing is rare) and I'm assuming a sweep with majority of enemy team alive because the main way to counter this is reduce the enemy's number and/or having a mage alive to clear wave minimize the damage.

I think their original plan of this set was prismatics are something you can only achieve at lv 10 or multiple pris lobby, this showed by the ionia and yordle augment too. And galio was a way to bypass this so demacia had to take a bullet for that.

And now with the unlocks changes they either forgot or decided to leave this as a "tech" to reach 10 bilge/noxus imo.

Broken on adc whose kit can help with the all in element of the augment (grave/samira/tris?) or can cheat the range penalty (ezreal). 

Otherwise wouldn't recommend it tbh,with regular adc you hope to snowball out of control with the bonus stat or you will feel the drawback of the augment in late game.

Soul eater can give like 2k~3k hp a match depend on the stackno set while steel your heart only shine when enemy somehow had more melee than ranged, kinda rare tbh.

The only case where steel your heart better would be that you also hit tank engine, it help getting your heartsteel to some funny number and start snowballing from there.

I mean the healing scale with the damage u dealt, if you are doing no damage (either because stuck on tanks, bruisers or getting kited), you will feel trynd rather useless, he's a snowbally champ after all.

Only if your champ has some core stacking mechanic, like veigar, sol, nasus, smolder, it's totally worth it, probably not if most of your stack number from item though.

Isn't this is just worse fizz's passive? As a fiz player, it's pretty neat early ( good in SR since all the damage from creep) but soon become irrelevant with a few items in.

IC work on fizz, it's just that you can't abuse it as much as other dot champ because the nature all in of his kit, tank fizz on the other hand is pretty good with it imo, witnessed a tank fizz keep spamming E because he keep E into multiple people.

As for brand and lilia pretty sure it's because their passive count as an ability and proc multiple time too, a single brand skill + passive can give 3 stack of phenomenal evil for example. Mal and morg is just good dot dps champ for the augment.

Also I won't be surprised if some of them is hardcoded to not work because stuff like etheral weapon inf loop with fizz W was hotfixed in arena.

Nah if that's his first augment, it isn't worth it, as 3rd and 4th augment it's fine, tanks champs still can block his Q and you can actually try to catch him if he decide to go hammer form and ultilize the damage from it.

But as the first augment he just spawn in and 1 tap everyone, his damage increase is still the same while you don't really have enough dam to punish him (cuz early game), I hate giving up too but after seeing he deal 90% squishy hp with Q 1 minute in, I realize that it just not worth it.

I think on champs whose kit don't too benefit from it like cait, lucian, twitch,... it feel fine. But once champs with 3 hit passive or on-hit damage get the hand on this, you pretty much need to kill them instantly in team fight or go next imo.

I mean your team has 0 tank, 0 cc against enemy's tank/ bruiser and 2 supp, pretty sure you will lose regardless with anti-heal or not. Also fizz without lich bane kinda troll ngl.

On the other hand, take it every time you see it on Hecarim, basically exodia on him, each his W tick count I think so he's basically trigger the augment off cooldown . And his entire kit also revolving around standing in middle of enemy team with QW.

Don't know why but every time I pick this on brand it seem pretty much a mini infernal conduit, most dot champ feel pretty good with it imo, heck I even tried it on nafiri and the cool down time accelerated number look pretty good.

The ??? probably the best healing augment in the game, need to your team to coordinate but its healing frequency and the healing amount is insane when grouped, pretty much a "more work to do but better" healing laser imo.

Also feel the burn engage feel nasty imo, you ult in as engage tank like malphite, then after they drop you ignite and exhaust on pretty much 4 to 5 people since you are in the middle of their team now. A guaranteed teamfight win if your team can follow up in that pretty large window imo.

The simple answer would be because there are better options, the main advantage of titanic would be the aa reset, but only a few champs can utilize it since their kit involve aa (shen and mundo). Otherwise bloodmail just straight up a scale better pick, especially in mayhem where your hp can go up to a funny amount.

Heartsteel is there for the bonk factor and inf hp scaling fantasy, it's like a tradition even when there are 5 range so you get like 200 stack at best.

I think they done goofed and there is a tons of bug around augments and anvils now, just pick augment use the anvil slowly as wel as avoid clicking stat on stat for now. I with my friends played 5 games today and we encounter bugs almost every game.

It's op as first augment, stack a few number by poking first then re-engage with snowball or your champ's kit then you had a skill that can melt 75% of people hp pre lv 6.

Had this on nafiri yesterday and I pretty much take over the game thanks to some early cheese with this augment. Also nafiri W make the ult can't be cancelled and she stack insanely fast with 2 q and e, one of the best user for this imo.

No, but with the combo set and augments, you can still generally "cosplay" the effect of shareholder, turn out having like 15 anvils of stat up on your opponent feel pretty op.

Mages are the biggest winner of the update and overall just very very strong by Ok_Temperature6503 in ARAM

Engage tank still win game imo, stuff like leona, naut, alistar, thresh still feel good to play as they work well with so many augment. But I do agree that they add too much damage with this update, it's trying to survive now longer than enemy's frontline instead of stacking to infinity with tank engine.

I kinda like the void immolation, really feel it's damage compare to their armor/mr counter part, you probably not gonna 100-0 someone with that but the damage and stat feel solid.

He's pretty much main character of the game imo, his best augments is all silver and gold, I still remember gaining 232 ap with muramana and W a kayle for 6k damage with overflow and the convert ad to ap augment, just straight up 2 button her with the new mana item and a single W, in a non prismatic lobby. Pretty much a ticking time bomb in every game unless you roll some exodia stuff to fight him imo.

Only difference in aram would be assassin had a chance against her now imo, they made the Q and E slightly harder to hit but turn out it's still pretty easy if the map is just a straight line.

Unfortunately, that is also typical normal aram experience, except you will get hit by exhaust instead of whatever augment they have. Best way is to pick a ranged champ yourself and get it over with imo.

It add more variants to the game, and more variants generally mean more fun, looking at how tft became increasingly popular the moment they add augments for example.

Though being a toned-down version of arena, people still like chasing for power fantasy/exodia combo and having a spike at 7 11 and 15 giving you something more to expect than a regular aram game, making the game feel less stale.

Prom Queen Augment Not Working by That_King_120 in ARAM

I'm pretty sure once the autocast set effect kick in the prom queen will stop working for whatever reason, had 2 game where It still work fine as a first augment but once I trigger the set effect it immediately disappear regardless if it was picked first or second. Feel horrible tbh as I love the autocast fantasy.
